Mood swings, dice edition.

Good casual game for more laid back individuals.

Thank to vtubers, I was reminded of these games and finally got to re-experience them and their multiple conclusions. Majority of the humor is based on picking all the options in the scenarios given and watching the insanity that ensues. This encourages multiple playthroughs. Doing so also unlocks a wide variety of endings for the climax. The many pop culture references and memes ranging from back in the 2010s to modern day successfully hit the funny and nostalgia bone.

Bugs and game freezes (I experienced quite a few) can be fixed by not playing in fullscreen mode. This may be a an issue for some especially those with high resolution screens.

Weapon playstyles are unique
Rich character customization
Maps are generally well done
Monsters are mostly distinct from each other and cannot easily be killed using the same tactics.

Game mechanics can be potentially overwhelming at the start (but become muscle memory fairly quickly)
Story is forgettable though.

Lots of replayability especially for those that do not mind playing the same level over and over using different approaches. Can easily get you 50 hours per level if you choose to attempt all challenges blind and play around with the contracts mode (Existing level with player-made objectives) .

Pretty decent game destroyed by a horrible port. Community addressed that though.

Edit: Keyboard Controls now added, although it can be a pain to set every key, it works pretty well after it.

Play solo + perseverance = satisfaction =D

I found the first half to be really dragged out and you can foresee the conclusion within the first 15 minutes.

However despite these setbacks, the voice acting and BGM make up for it. The game gets much better later on and at its climax, manages to tug at my heartstrings even though I was prepared for the inevitable conclusion.

Overall I exited the game satisfied with my purchase.

Not as many thought provoking situations as Season 1 and waiting for chapters to be released in between did not wreck nerves as badly as the first. However it still successfully makes you question most of your decisions halfway through.

Also, this one has multiple endings(5 I think), with each being able to satisfy a certain type of personality. Youtube them all when you are done, then proceed to replay to get the conclusion you want.

Nice soothing music and pretty artwork. I dont regret a penny.

Predictable story because of how many movie cliches it has but eventually gets exciting towards the end. Vehicle camera is also difficult to get used to (Driving backwards is annoying) which sucks since nearly everything you do in this game requires a vehicle.

However there are many collectibles with benefits, as well as tons of sidequests and afew mini games(Simple ones) to prolong gameplay. There are also challenges with leaderboards you can attempt to try to beat the highscores of your friends. Sadly it amounts to nothing but showing off after reaching the gold award for that challenge.

Story DLCs have interesting concepts but are too short for the price tag, with the story being only about an hour long.

I can only recommend this when it is ON SALE.
