So, I purchased this add-on back in 2014 after I purchased the base game. I was extremely happy to have my favorite steam locomotive to drive in game, it worked perfectly, sounded absolutely beautiful, and I would have recommended this to anyone back then. Maybe not so much now, even though I chose no.

Now, let me just say that I cannot be the only one that feels this way, especially if anyone else has had this add-on as long as I have, or even longer than I have. After updating the game to Train Simulator 2015, this add-on has become more of a headache to use, in the physical sense, not mentally. I remember when the hissing coming from this train used to be subtle and it had so many other sounds from first loading it up, screeching brakes, pressure building in the brakes after you applied them when going at a very fast speed, things like that, just small stuff.

Now, all I hear is constant hissing, drowning out everything else about what used to make this locomotive amazing to use in this game. It starts hissing as the boiler pressure drops from 298 to 294, only to go silent when you are sitting still as the pressure builds back up to 298 before doing it all over again. Moving the train and trying to regulate the pressure does not help, because once it passes 298, it just continues to hiss indefinitely, as I said, drowning out most of the other sounds, and a lot of the old sounds I mentioned are either bugged or just flat out gone.

This issue has made me immensely disappointed with this add-on, as much as I love this locomotive, I just cant listen to hissing for hours on end if I want to free roam or do scenarios with it. Please, from all of the fans of this game, please update this add-on and bring back the old sounds, Dovetail.

Well, after Epic Trash Games has taken over, I think that's the end for me on this game. I've refused to play their games, and after this stunt of making it yet another battlepass system like the trash of fortnite, I think I'm done with it until something changes. This is a game that I had a lot of fun in for a long time, despite spending money for skins I wanted off of a website and actually getting what I paid for, not the ones offered in the stupid battlepass.

Ok, just want to start off saying that I absolutely used to love this game, absolutely loved it. I played the first game all the way up through until Rise of Iron, when I couldn't manage to afford an Xbox one to get it. I pre-ordered both games, pre-ordered the expansions for the extras and basically anything else, even participated in both of the betas for the games.

Now I want to get into why this game has really started to suck and has warranted a negative review from me. After everything that has happened, especially with this game in general, with Bungie finally tearing away from Activision, I was one of the ones that thought "Ok, awesome! Bungie will actually try to do better by this game than Activision did!" Boy, was I wrong.

The fact that Bungie INTENTIONALLY went the same route with their loot system as Epic Games had been going for YEARS now with the trash called Fortnite, I was utterly disappointed in Bungie as a whole because they could have done so much better than locking loot behind multi-step bounties with Iron Banner, Crucible, Gambit, and Strikes to get triumphs, or even the seasonal gear for Iron Banner, mostly. This has been going on for 2 or 3 seasons, I believe.

I honestly expected better from Bungie than making people grind out literally 10,000,000 XP to get from rank 1 to 100 in Season of the Undying. I thought it would be a lot better than it truly was, but I guess, like most people who expect a degree of creativity and such from other devs, they just do not deliver at the level of quality that they used to with the Halo series, which is what I will be returning to come December 3rd.

I don't even think Ill stick around with Destiny 2 through the next few seasons unless some drastic changes are made. As far as I'm concerned, I got to rank 100, whether it be by purchasing silver after getting sick of the grind to get the items that I was wanting, but I don't care anymore. I will not be reinstalling the game anytime soon, and depending on how the next seasons go, that will decide whether or not I have the game completely removed from my account.

So, until then, a sincere farewell goes out to my fellow guardians. Goodbye, Destiny 2. Goodbye, Bungie.

So, after some long consideration, reading reviews on Bungie's plans to basically "vault" the base campaign and from what I read, like 4 of the planets, Im not entirely sure how to feel. I reinstalled the game tonight and am considering hopping on to give it a go since I stopped playing the night of December 31st, 2019.

Im still not sure about their plans to take things out of the game, but we will see how the unvaulting of things will go as well. I still love this game a lot, but I just dont see a point in grinding out 10,000,000 XP every season just to get the rewards. It's repetitive and just gets old. Im sure that Im not the only one that feels that way, but I suppose only time will tell how things go.

Im also considering whether or not to even buy the new DLC before it launches. Ive always gone with that option up until it became what it is today and ever since season 7. Im still very disappointed, but hopefully Bungie will straighten up and actually do something right by this game that a lot of people enjoy.

By far one of the best FTP MOBA games out there. Better than any of the crap royale games that have come out in the past. Im glad this game was what it was. It was perfect the way it is, and Im not even a big PVP game fan, but this game caught my attention better than any of the games that have come out recently.

The only thing I have to say to PWE is **** you for closing down and laying off almost 100 people at Motiga that made this game unique. I understand that they did everything they could, but this game will never die, no matter how much they would like it to. The leftover staff at Motiga did their best to keep the servers up for as long as they could, and for that, I say thank you. I just hope that one day this game will be revived and will thrive the way it should have because Im more than willing to bet that the people at Motiga were doing their best to perfect the game.

Thank you for the fun, joy, and wonderfully competitive game that you made this into, Motiga. Maybe one day it will make its return, and I hope to be there the day it does. I know many others, if not everyone that played this game feels the same.

Edit (June 23, 2017 @ 11:49PM): Well, it seems that after 77,000 signatures on the petition and over 103,000 overwhelmingly negative reviews on Steam, Take Two have revoked their Cease and Desist order on OpenIV. I want to say thank you to everyone who supported the modding community and came together to bring single player mods back into GTA V. Take Two certainly felt the heat from the overwhelming responses and support. I want to thank Rockstar for contacting the developers of OpenIV to work with them after reversing their decision, and for convincing Take Two to stop targeting single player mods.

Im very pleased with Rockstar's decision to talk to Take Two and I think they have regained my support, but Take Two has not after initially ordering a Cease and Desist on OpenIV. I think they might learn from this, especially considering it all happened over the span of only 10 days after the release of the Gunrunning DLC on June 13th. But again, thank you to all of the supporters that helped bring Single Player mods back, and a big thank you to Rockstar for taking a step back into the right direction to keep this game amazing, the way it should be.

Hopefully the website for OpenIV will return in the coming days and things can go back to the way they have been with the development team for the past 10 years. I dont want this to happen again just as much as any of the other community members do, and we never know if it will, but we will all remain strong as a community of gamers who want to be able to have real fun in games, not have it taken away without compromise.

Note:

I will keep my Negative review as a part of this just so people know what kind of response like this from a community as strong and as large as the GTA V modding community can really do. We can all make a difference and make sure that we remain strong as a whole. In the coming days, I will swap to Recommending this game once again. Nobody should forget what happened with this, which is another reason I am keeping the negative part of the review.

On behalf of the community that enjoys modding in Singleplayer, **** you, Take Two. This game was amazing with the mods that are offered, especially in singleplayer, but after what you have done, you will lose 95% of your players and customers. Good luck selling Greed Theft Auto 6. I will never recommend another Rockstar game again, nor will I purchase a Take Two Greed game again. You have lost so much of your customers that you need to close your entire business. Even Rockstar is better than you, but they made a bad choice not splitting off from you guys a long time ago.

Also, the fact that Take Two has purchased Kerbal Space Program pisses me and a lot of others off SO badly due to this change since KSP has a lot of FUN mods, which TT obviously doesnt care about fun, only money, they have screwed everyone over that enjoys their games and have royally screwed their vision of what players want in a game. If I could put more than 1 thumb down on steam, I would. Take Two is officially worse than EA games in my eyes after the **** that has been done over the past week.

On a side note, in case anyone in the modding community hasnt seen the petition, I urge you to sign it if you havent already: https://www.change.org/p/rockstar-games-save-openiv/u/20570525

I sincerely hope that everyone who has ever had fun modding in GTA V signs that and that we all get our RIGHT to mod and have fun in video games back from the greedy companies like this. GTA V has without a doubt been the most fun game to mod that I have ever played. Take Two has no right to suddenly shut us down after OpenIV has been operating for almost 10 years. Yes, there are bad modders out there, but dont go punishing people that mod in singleplayer for what happens online. Sending police, PIs, or a cease and desist order to people who make the game even BETTER than you ever could is no excuse to ruin the experience for the ENTIRE community.

To those who have created fun mods for this game, I thank you on behalf of the entire GTA V Modding community. It has been fun, but I think after what has happened, I dont even want this game on my account after the next "patch" in the coming times. So again, thank you for taking this game and making it the most fun gaming experience for us players. I honestly hope things go back to the way they were if enough people rally against the fun hating greed of Take Two.
