You ever had a fever dream where everything is neon and skew?
Yeah, its kinda like that but with top tier wives.

♥♥♥♥ has hit the fan.
$30 to $60 is kinda scummy, reminds me of dayz standalone.
But this isnt a forum, this is a review page.

TL;DR : its aight, better with friends.

Pro's:
Beautiful game (if you have the power to run it)
Enjoyable Engram system that actually makes exp in a survival game decent.
Taming system is complex but thats what the wiki is for, ay?
Fun survival with friends, with an end goal.
RNG/RPG elements.
Large variety of dinosaurs with different species living in different areas.

Cons:
Its borderline impossible to get established if you're alone
Official is cancer at the moment, mainly due to the pure amount of tribes. The tribes that were already established on official before the server movement update have a huge advantage, with the ability for 50 person tribes to hop into other official servers to take them over.
The RNG can be absolutely horrible, if you're unlucky you can get a level 125 giga smashed on your head when you have just a wood base.
Wyverns need a huge nerf, Gigas need a huge buff. Wyverns can kill literally any creature in the game with ease and the only thing that can stand up to them is other wyverns. Gigas got nerfed way too far, yes they were really strong before wyverns, but they're so weak now. A rex or even a pack of solid bred dires can easily kill a giga. Not even talking about the stupid taming, it takes so much effort and time to even knock one out and even if you knock it out you need to get narcotics on them borderline instantly. Not even to talk about the rage system, luckily they have next to no damage to deal to you.
As much as the flyer nerf needed to happen ya went too far. A cap on speed would have been enough, but locking speed levelling altogether has killed any use they used to have.
Its a bit of a buggy mess, the bugs are huge in number and its obvious from the get-go.


Each of the maps are brilliant. The Island is obviously the first map, but it still is fantastic with the sheer detail and effort. The Center is a community made map that got integrated into a main map, Its my personal favourite with too many good things to say about it. Its gorgeous, the redwood feels like something out of Trine, the volcano island has fantastic detail and ambience, the underground world that the center has is insane, complete with miles upon miles of handmade landscape. Scorched Earth is another map by the developers, but it feels complex and intricate for its smaller size.

If you want to play vanilla skyrim go with this.
But for the love of god DO NOT ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ go into this for mods.
Almost all of the mods for the original havent been ported over right and dont work, some havent even been ported and it just ♥♥♥♥♥ it all up.
But its good for vanilla.
