Tom is just a normal house cat. He's asleep, peacefully, then suddenly Jerry is stealing his food, andd Tom is just supposed to stand there and let it happen? Tom has always been potrayed as the bad guy in all the shows, but that is totally wrong. Jerry is always provoking Tom and yet Tom has to face the consequences. I just watched the Tom and Jerry movie on HBO max, and the first 10 minutes of the movie prove this. Tom sets up his piano and plays in the park. Everyone is clapping and giving him money. Jerry sees this, and to profit off this, he puts up his poster right on top of tom's then starts dancing. So now everyone's focused on jerry. Tom tells Jerry to go away, but then Jerry breaks tom's piano. Jerry is selfish and does anything to get what he wants. Warner Bros stop trying to shove jerry down our throats.
