Firstly Id like to acknowledge my bias, I have been waiting years for this game and its finally out and have easily 800+hrs in the previous game PIPE.
TLDR

PROS
The "flow" of the game is amazing
Tricks feel super smooth and becomes second nature
Map does have some cool spots, you have to hunt for them
Mod maps are easy to install
Massive bike customisation
Online is seamless and easy to use

Cons
Some challenges feel impossible
Map feels empty in parts, empty car parks, basketball courts and side streets
Sometimes the physics engine plays up especially on rails, I can see this being fixed at some point.
Smaller trick list then the last game. I can see this being fixed at some point
No online peer to peer/VS challenges (games of skate etc)

First off this game is HARD especially some of the challenges, I can easily see someone who has never played PIPE or even touched a BMX bike finding it very difficult and not fun. However, the feeling of completing a challenge you have been stuck on for the past 1+hr is amazing and feels very rewarding. The learning curve with this game takes a while for me it took ~10hrs, but after that initial learning process everything is easy and flowing around the map feels amazing. This is emphasised by the massive map that is full of hidden spots, unfortunately there is heaps of empty space throughout the map and it feels empty in parts. Another thing that is underwhelming is the small trick list coming from PIPE, I'm sure this will be fixed either by MG or the modding community in the future. Another let down at times is the physics engine, at times your character will glitch out and end up crashing, or not jumping high enough or jumping over rails, this becomes very annoying when trying to do grinds at the end of challenges and you crash and have to restart the whole challenge. Next the online/modding of the game is amazing and very easy to use, connecting to friends is very easy and there is no lag on your end. Downloading mod maps is as simple as drag and drop and works with multiplayer at the same time, even if you aren't playing the same map (which I was surprised with). In summery I would recommend this game only to someone who has played a skate/BMX game before and is ok with a steep learning curve initially, I can see most of the major issues with the game being fixed in the near future as some of mine already have, manualing up and down transitions for example.
