As someone who have played this game for 42 hours, finished the game 3 times (one time on Normal and 2 times on Hard) and got each individual achievement. I HIGHLY recommend buying this game, no questions about it!

This is my first time playing a VR game and Valve really lets the player get used to the controls and movement at a perfect pace. I have played the other Half-Life titles as well, Black Mesa, Half-Life 2, HL2 episodes 1-2. I fully understand why Valve did Half-Life: Alyx in VR, because everything just feels so much more immersive. For example: the Headcrabs, when you are attacked by them for the first time you get chills down your spine, or with Antlions, they look much bigger in VR even though they are the same size. The things that isn’t that scary in other Half-Life games are much scarier in VR (at first), but over time you’ll get used to it, for me anyway.

The gameplay is great, controls are great, movements are great, soundtrack is great, man everything is great! I wish the story was a little bit longer though, but I understand why Valve made that choice. It's not really short, so don't worry too much about it.

This game gets a really strong 9/10! Valve really set a new standard for VR, so the other game devs have to catch up!!
