People aren't fools for holding companies to their claims good or bad, they said the requirement was removed, it doesn't make sense for them to outright lie to people unless they want to get review bombed again. Running theory is valve removed the listings to avoid more refunds. There needs to be a carrot and a stick or else companies will write a game off as a lost cause. If we punish companies for bad decisions we also need to reward them for listening and fixing things otherwise what's the point. If the game isn't for you that's fine but it's super cynical to say that people trying to reward a company for listening to their customers feedback are idiots.

People are gullible idiots and companies are counting on it.
