Early Access Review
Had a bad day at work? Relieve all your stress by bashing the living hell out of your oponents with a large arsenal at your disposal.

Gorn is one of the most violent games I've ever played, more violent than DOOM(2016)/DOOM VFR or even the Mortal Kombat games. The fact that you're in control, ripping bodies apart and using limbs to violent kill other champions makes you feel like a god.

The newest update adds a lot more to this Early Access title (which honestly feels like a full release game by my standards). Absolutely love the developers, constantly adding to the game. New weapons and a new champion to face was just recently added in this update. Also a new arena thats bigger with environmental hazards was added too.

If you love gore and violent games, this game is definitely for you.

This is the type of game I've always wanted.

I bought this on one of my off days and I played this game for 11 hours in one sitting. No joke. I've never done that to an RPG since The Witcher 3 or Skyrim.

This game does have it's fair share of glitches and bugs but so far I haven't encountered anything game breaking.

You start off as a nobody really. A simple commoner. You have to learn everything like sword fighting and even reading. My first actual sword fight where I actually killed a guy clocked in around 4 hours. This game really reminds me of those old-school RPGs where it doesn't hold your hand. This game is slow, really slow, but I like it like that. It makes the world feel more lived in. Everything really has a feeling of purpose.

The story is also really engaging. The main character, Henry, is really relatable and I don't mind that this isn't an RPG where you make your character. The "lore" of this game is based on historical events that happened in the 15th century.
A lot of major events that happen in this game are based off what happened in Bohemia all that time ago. This game has me wanting to read more about them.

The soundtrack in this game is amazing. It may sound really generic, but it really suits the game well. I had many goosebumps while traveling through the land of Bohemia.

The design of the world is really amazing too. I've never seen an open world game design forests so realistically. They're incredibly dense with trees. Night time is also realistically dark, you have to use a torch if you want to travel at night.

So far I'm enjoying myself, I'll update this review if anything game breaking does occur. So far I highly recommend this game, especially if you like old school RPGs.

There are many VR titles out there that seem like gimicks. At first I saw this and thought it was going to a be game where you just flail your arms at your sides to win. Clearly I was wrong.

Sprint Vector is a game where you race to the end by "Sprinting" and going through obstacles on the race track. By using many abilities like drifting, flying, climbing, and power ups it makes the races feel very engaging. Its very "Mario Kart" esque where the power ups you pick up are conviently placed so you can use them against your oponents.

This game is one of the most polished VR games I've ever played. You really get a sense of immersion just by even standing still and looking at environments. The art style is very stylistic and it really stands out. The soundtrack is also amazing. The presentation of this game is top notch and I can't recommend this game more!

Man is this one a workout! Arms are already sore after an hour. I didn't even notice I was pretty much exercising while enjoying it. I wanted to keep playing but my body kept saying no.

PS: Take breaks!

Pleasantly surprised with this game. There have been a lot of issues with this game recently (For Oculus users) after the update that added in smooth locomotion. Great thing is that SteamVR beta just recently patched the game and it isn't stuttering and showing the issues anymore. Also, I had to revert to an older Nvidia driver (390.65) since the newest driver ruined all the textures.

I just recently got into VR about 2 weeks ago and I heard there was a lot of backlash with this game. I wasn't there when the game first came out so I never really experienced its launch. One big thing was probably only having teleportation as the movement mechanic. The recent update added in smooth locomotion which in my opinion makes the game feel like Doom. I can't imagine playing this game without fast-paced movement. Of course, you'll need your VR legs (I've never felt motion sick in VR ever so I'm lucky). I'm having tons of fun just blasting demons with the large arsenal you have at your disposal.

Of course there are a few problems I have with the game. The "Glory Kills" are very underwhelming. It would've been cool if Glory Kills were implemented by actually grabbing parts of demons and just ripping them apart or punching them, kind of like a combination of Gorn and Robo Recall. There's also this hub section you keep returning to after each mission which in my opinion slows the game down a lot and ruins the pacing for me. Doom is the type of game where you just run around and shoot things. Putting out a fire with a fire extinguisher is the least of my concerns.

Coming from someone who's first experience is from the new update that added in smooth locomotion, I can recommend this game. Despite its flaws, I'm still having a ton of fun.

This is the worst game I've ever played in my life. Do NOT BUY THIS. Go buy something else like OVerwatch Loot Crates.

This is a game where you feel immersed in its world. I have played countless of hours in the amazingly detailed world of Mabinogi. I have 300+ hours on Steam from when I wrote this review but I've played this game before it was even on steam, back in 2009. The world is vast and beautifully made. I have still not visited every destination and I have plans to in the future to do so. The community in this game is outstanding. Never played with such an amazing community. There are many items that you can purchase from other players with an in game economy. Or you can buy some with real money using a gachapon system (Kind of like the Team Fortress 2 crates without the keys). But you honestly don't have to buy any of those cosmetic items to enjoy the game. There are hardly any level up restrictions with no level cap. But levels don't really matter. Its all about the skills. Every time you level you gain a skill point that you can put into the many skills you will get to improve them. Rebirthing to make your level back at 1 is possible every 3 weeks if your character's age is 17. Thats my only problem. That it takes 3 weeks for you to rebirth unless you pay for a weekly rebirth. It is not needed because you will be spending those 3 weeks leveling you character like crazy if you're a beginner. Playing music with in-game instruments is an option using a music language known as MML (Music Macro Language). I would sometimes walk by an amazing composer with an amazing song or even bands that just play music for people's enjoyment. Mabinogi has a very strategic combat system with many different classes to play as. Nexon is constantly updating the game with in game events and even different storylines and generations(quest lines). You will not beat this game in a matter of weeks or maybe even months. I still haven't because of the quantity and quality of this product.

If you enjoy role playing games and MMO's you will enjoy this game. The community in this game is amazing and will make you keep coming back. This is a different kind of MMO. Its unique in its own way.
