As a player who played both Forza Horizon 3 and 4, This game is quite decent with new and returning features from both games. However, Most of the content in the current game is recycled such as some cars which are in FH4 are placed in Festival Playlist in FH5 as new content. Those cars should be at launch if there are no licensing issues unlike the case of Alfa Romeo, Fiat and Lancia that is the actual licensing issue. Also some features like Midnight Battles should reward the cars that are new to Forza instead of the cars that already exist in the first place. Bugs and glitches haven’t been fixed properly even hotfixes in each update

Despite the recycled contents, The updates that FH4 doesn’t make into it is the new customization such as new rims, new bodykits from other manufacturers besides Rocket Bunny and Liberty Walk. The bodykit of Hyundai Veloster surprises me unexpectedly and it becomes one of my favourite bodykits. Eventlab creates new areas or custom maps for drifting, photography and more. This new feature in FH5 helps the community create new things.

The main map of FH5 is mixed between FH3 and FH4, FH3 brings diversity in each area of the map and returns multiple festival sites and the airport meanwhile FH4 brings historic city into it but the issue of FH5’s map doesn’t have urban area like in FH3 map. So the map in FH5 is basically FH4’s map with many biomes.

In terms of car list, Car Pass DLC is worth it for discounted price. Some cars are pretty good with proper customiztion but some new gen cars such as Audi should be free in Festival Playlist. New cars at the post launch don't have as much as I expected. Online mode is quite soulless unlike FH4 where most people are active in Forzathon events that make the event look like the car meet. Online racing and custom event is not different much as FH4

Forza Horizon 5 is a sandbox-ish game where you can choose and buy one of your favourite cars to curise or race. Freedom and customizability are the key. So the overall score for this game is 7/10.
