♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hell, i had forgotten how gloriously ridiculous this game is, especially when you get going through STAG stuff
futuristic tank freefalling shooting at planes and other tanks? yeah sure

played for the free weekend, I really like the new lifestyle stuff compared to ck2, the culture stuff & religion stuff is really cool too

however i'm most interested in mods that bring the game to another universe, such as elder kings

just as the ck2 warcraft mod got me much more interested in the warcraft universe (having previously only played warcraft 3), the same has happened here with Elder Kings making me know & want to know more about Argonians
I've played one of the Ghost-Hist tribe in the south east of Black Marsh, named my second character Beela-Kar as namesake to a golden skull my first character found while raiding, my Beela-Kar grew to be a Necromancer and eventually Lich, eventually uniting all of Black Marsh, kicking out House Dres, and reforming the Ghost-Hist faith to the Phantom-Hist religion, making himself Head of the Faith, having the Living Gods precept and generally making himself worshipped (and paving the way to no longer being tribal as one of the Ghost-Hist & Hist precept forbids it)

Pretty graphics and absolutely GORGEOUS soundtrack. Good vibes.

However, do keep in mind that the game's development was cut short, and may result in issues.

after facing PE-8's in arcade naval i now understand the hate against planes in non-air gamemodes

only learned to parry during/after fighting Monsoon & it's like a whole different game now

Destabilized someone by attacking them & forcing them to switch to my ideology
Shortly after being "liberated", they go xenophobe and start expeling species that aren't their own
I accept all of those refugees which go straight into my colonies

10/10 would liberate again
