I cannot play a game that isn't fun and will only continuously piss me off for a few hours. Like a bit contradictory to what i just said but every thing outside of these bullet sponge bosses is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ great. The actual AC bosses. Feel fun. The missions despite the missile/laser spam. Feel good to complete. The amount of ac customization. Awesome. However there is just too much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and time padding with these giant bosses before multiplayer is unlocked. I have legitimately spent 6 hours on the bosses ive fought up until the pca spider in chapter 2. It just feels like they wanted me to spend time fighting these big guys instead of having fun in the game.

non-ac bosses are not fun to fight and do not give me any sort of fulfillment to fight. Unlike dark souls where there is a clear pattern and way you're supposed to dodge. These mother ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ are too fast for their size and dodging their attacks are more luck based than i'd like. I could dodge the intended way and still take every bit of damage in the attack. It never feels as if ive beaten or learned how to fight the boss only that i got a lucky run and somehow won.

I will return to the game in a few weeks cause everything else is fun but HAVING A GIANT ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ every other missions or sometimes back to back is just not fun. The structure in chapter one was fine the first mission was good however we then went back to fighting acs being MERCENARIES OR A HIRED GUN like in the other games and fought other mts or acs. But after a certain point in chapter one every damn mission includes nothing but missile spam and laser spam and you'll be lucky if that mission doesnt include a giant ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boss.

Call me salty or whatever but ♥♥♥♥ Rubicon in its current state right now. I didn't come back to ac to fight souls like bosses who are too fast for how big they are and that damn stagger bar means nothing unlike in sekiro where you could legitimately do damage in that interval. Literally the stagger there is just there to punish you because it sure as hell doesn't feel like i am doing something to the bosses whenever i do stagger em but oh boy i get staggered welp say good bye to 7000ap(health) . Give me back the ac where i actually felt like i was fighting other human sized mechs and had to learn and adapt to those and not well things i would never see in multiplayer.

it would have been fine if it was just at the beginning and end of chapter but chapters like chapter 2 are so short that it would have been better to just not include the spider in that mission or even better make more story during chapter 2 instead of having it consist of 3 missions.

I'm sorry as much as i want to i cant recommend this game in it's current state.

Edit: Since I received the game as a gift from a friend i am obligated to at least beat the game but im not happy about it.However i have completed upto chapter 4. am currently on chapter 5. My opinion on the game since the end of chapter 2 still holds. If you still want this game after all of this. Then i'm sorry be prepared for the most ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ experience induced anger you've ever felt. Once i beat the game I won't be playing it anymore unless my friends ask me for 1v1s.
