Edit after 4 battle pass, it is still cancer as ever. One of the most toxic game but yet it is rewarding.

One of the best game ever! Just that new players and players that are 2k/5k hours will spoil the game for you. Eg: playing TI Strat, Not learning the game, Not playing as the team.

The toxicity will increase if there is a event (eg: TI10/Battle Pass/Diretide/TI11). This is the only game that has most toxic player. (look at the comment section).

"Winning the game is easy, convincing your teammate to buy items and win the game is the hardest"

** After playing so much, with the new chat abuse, it is one of the best updates. But the games played in turbo is still toxic, doesnt make a difference until those toxic players wake up from the system.

*** After playing so much the toxicity still the same, during event all of the average and below average player will come back to play and make the whole experience bad. A redditor mention " the high for dota is high, but the low of dota is very very low" Sometime sleeping is better than dota.
