i "coded" an auto clicker for this game but then i learned about mods and now its not really useful

honestly if you're looking at the reviews for the game, you're probably safe in not buying it.

but if you like an interesting game with some pretty laughable storytelling at one moment, and then a mind ♥♥♥♥ in the same breath...

I figured I'd update my review of this. For the third time.

It's really good, but performance still needs lots of work. I'm now playing on a i9 12900H and rtx 3070 laptop gpu and it still can barely run it at medium settings reliably. I currently am using a quest 2 with a supported link cable (2.5gbps, so bandwidth isnt the issue).

The feature updates and map upgrades have been amazing to play through over the past 3 years, and its definitely a must have for any VR enjoyer. but be warned that you need a pretty good computer to be able to run it at any kind of decent settings.

It's an amazing game but it has some performance problems. At least for me.

I have a GTX 1060 6gb, i7 4790k, 16 GB DDR3 RAM, and it runs at 30-40 FPS in fights. In the main house and before any enemies spawn, constant 90 fps. As soon as a few enemies spawn, it drops to 30-40 fps, all lowest settings, even at 0.5 resolution scale. Really hope the dev fixes this or if there's a community fix.

Even after all that, I still wholeheartedly recommend this game, as its one of my most played VR games, and an essential in my book.

Edit, I have upgraded to a Ryzen 5 2600, and RX 5700 XT and the game still stutters and drops in fights at all lowest settings. Still not fixed but still also one of my favorite vr games.
