If you are experimenting some crashes, disable reverb in the audio options. I got no crash so far and i am half way through the game.

This remaster is actually very good:
-No mouse acceleration/smooting
-FOV slider
-"better graphics"
-great optimisation

A few tips (slight gameplay spoilers) :
-Make new saves once in a while, don't just use quicksave button (as quicksave might be corrupted if you crash...)
-Disable "item shimmer" in the options, it will make exploration more fun.
-Don't underestimate your camera, use it and you'll do more damage to enemies you photograph.(like big Daddies...)
-Hack everything you find (for ex hacking the healing stations will damage the enemies who try to heal themselves.
-Freeze turrets, cameras...: this will make water flow slower if you hack it)
-Have fun being creative (for ex set a cyclone trap on the ground and a proximity mine above it on the ceiling, or put proximity mines on an object and use telekinesis to throw that object at enemies....)

An amazing game that deserves to be in your library. Or your wishlist.
