Fallout 4 is not the best game ever, nor the best in the series, but it is my favorite game of all time. Kinda bold to open with but let me get into the three short reasons why I think this game is so good.

The modding scene is really big for Fallout 4, It has the second most mods on the Nexus (if you don't count Skyrim: SE). It has a whopping 36.3k mods as we speak. Not only is that an insane amount of mods, there's also an insane amount of good mods available.


Fallout 4 has really good world for you to explore, sure the story stinks and everyone rips on that. The world on the other hand is incredible and has so many little secrets and unmarked locations with some nice lore or random encounters.


Fallout 4 is an incredibly atmospheric game, while yes there are loads of bugs it doesn't change the fact that walking around the foothills at night (Especially with darker nights and true storms.) that I feel like i'm there and forget about the outside world.
