I don't recommend this game. It was good in the past but it is horrible now.

The gameplay itself is not bad but the balancing is horrid.

The developers want to make the game as difficult as they can and for a period of time, they kept on nerfing any weapons that had high usage rates, resulting in everything being lousy and low performance, except for a few weapons (one of them coincidentally being their ex-CEO's publicly touted favourite which never saw a single change since launch). Take note that this is a horde shooter with tens of dozens of enemies on screen at once where it can take a whole magazine just to kill 2 or 3 mobs.

Recently, they finally accepted player feedback and started buffing the lousy weapons. This was a step in the right direction but they decided to make player armor almost non-existent. Everything can now kill you in 2 or 3 hits now regardless of what armor you wear. Again, keep in mind that this is a horde shooter.

All these wouldn't be too bad if the ragdolling is not poorly implemented. You will be thrown left, right and center with absolutely no control of your character at times due to enemies shooting from outside your screen (bots) or sent flying by enemies running at you from outside the screen (terminids).

Gameplay is not too bad (especially if you like stealth shooters) but with how big the maps are, there will be A LOT of running and walking. Of course, you can try to fight but you will encounter the problems highlighted above, depending on what level you play. I predominantly play on level 7. It will only get worse as you go higher (up to 10).

The game has potential but unfortunately, it has horribly poor balancing. Unless you enjoy stealth shooters, I do not recommend buying this game.
