Decent game, got a few hours on it.

Everything is achievable without paying any money (and is usually not that hard to acquire either if you can put a bit of time into it), all the expansions that would be paid DLC in other games, also completely free.
Developers actively working on the game and seem to really care about it's development.
Community is definitely one of the best I've experienced, can't recall the last time i met someone toxic.
However, at least when i started out it was fairly difficult for newer players to know what exactly it is they should do, as some of the mechanics aren't explained as well as they could be, so it takes some time to get used to and figure everything out, starting out.

So if you don't mind a primarily PVE game, and you don't mind a bit of a grind, honestly you will find it to be a really enjoyable experience with many frames and weapons to chose from.
