Much needed visual update to the classic, ultimate, civilization simulator.
Incredible complexity and 100% new each play through/attempt/restart/rage quit.

The best first person MOBA since Battleborn, in my opinion, and its free!

This game has a lot of layers to it that allow it to shine out against the status quo in the RPG realm.
The plot is unique and silly with just enough realism to make you wonder if this could happen in real life.
The voice acting is well done and each character with a dialog set stands out and has emotional depth.
The customization of your party members and vehicles is well thought out and decisions, while seemingly subtle, can absolutely be felt.
The fighting is engaging and challenging with lots of dialog options that open up and are able to be explored depending on how your party members perks and abilities are tuned.
The open world is quite large, and at ~40 hours in, i have yet to even complete 1/3 of it.
This game, to me, feels like a mash up between the depth of the plot and level design of divinity original sin 2, the combat of xcom 2, with a universe similar to something from the fallout series.

Highly recommend, and am anxiously looking forward to another play through to experience the perks and dialog options i neglected this run.

Outrageous fun.
Squealing while hunters run by you, unaware.
Lots of tools and tactics on both sides.

Sequels are known to suck.
This one breaks the mold.
This game easily fits in numerous categories for steam awards but the aspects that stick with me the most are the soundtrack, the mechanics, and the overall fun had when played with friends.
This game is a must buy, especially if you are stumbling upon this for the first time; BEST GAME YOUVE NEVER HEARD OF.

This is one of the best games i have ever played.
Its charming, fun, unique in terms of the playable perspective and level designs.
It was, for the better, not what i expected, and has become quite addictive.
Playable as a mashup between an RTS and tower defense, a refreshing break from the monotony.
10/10 for catching me offguard and making me anxious to play again when im not.

This game.
Every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time i come back to it i find so much more than when i left.
Every single time i came back, the game has been fun and engaging, and often times, quite challenging; a rare combination in todays day and age.
This game, as is, is absolutely fantastic, so excited for new content closer to release.
Unlike most early access games, i was pleased when it started, and for some reason, this is almost like the addage, "its not about the destination, its about the journey".
The developer is actively engaged with the community, taking in feedback and implementing what makes sense; constantly improving.
He claims he is a perfectionist and i swear i can feel that in the gameplay and mechanics.
Even if you hate the game, which is unlikely, the developer still deserves the money for his dedication and attention to his fanbase; just see for yourself.
Get this game now, ive rarely seen a game and/or a developer who deserves the recognition and support.

EDIT/UPDATE:
The mechanics have changed a bit and now monsters can destroy your walls, which completely ruins the game for me.
It is hard enough with the spectres that can fly over the walls, but then to have any old monster end up attacking and destroying your walls and bypassing your pathing makes the game not enjoyable for me.
why even have the walls?
ive been told that i need to make my paths wider, like two or three pixels wide, but why?
its not longer a maze.
it feels as though that once the monsters walking mechanics were changed to be more random, that this was a problem that came from that change and there is no way to fix it so the developer made it seem like it was a purposeful update and told the players to deal with it.
breaks my heart that this has ruined it for me.
i hope in the future it is changed back or there is some kind of option to change the monsters behavior.
