This is an example for many developers how qol improvements and patching a game to support the players works.
They made a lot of mistakes when they released the game and killed their reputation like many other studios, but they never gave up and came back like the phoenix from the ashes.
If you like collecting things and exploring this game is pretty awesome.

Best couch Coop game available on PC. Awesome local multiplayer and a lot of content.

Boring Game, bad developer and publisher , bad performance. If you want to waste your time, this game is awesome.

In my opinion, this is the best space 4x game you can play these days.
Be ready for low fps in lategame.

This game is the best city builder you can get in gaming history.
It has mod support, awesome workshop implementation and you can sink thousands of hours into it.
Its even pretty easy to make your own mods and buildings.

Some people complain about dlc politics. If you are patient and buy it on sale, you pay about 70€ with all dlcs included.
I don't think that this is expensive for a game getting big updates every 6 months.
I can see myself playing this in 2025!

If you don't want to pay for the lifetime support this game gets from its devs, just mod the hell out of the basegame.
But don't forget that the donate button many modders show on their modpage isn't there just for fun.
