Against certain boss the parry/block mechanic only works when the game feels like it. In addition, I'm sick of games that have me do boss fights and when I win, in the cutscene that triggers I instantaneously lose. So I win but... I don't win? Stop doing that.
Oh by the way, the game suffers from terrible performance/stuttering unless you:
1) Configure "windowed fullscreen" in the visual options instead of normal fullscreen.
2) Enable DLSS Frame Generation if you have a modern nvidia gpu. And to avoid having horrible ghosting with it, download the DLSS Frame Generation dll version 1.0.7.0 and replace the one in the corresponding game's directory (dll nvngx_dlssg_1.0.7.0).
*) During my troubleshooting I also "installed" (it's just copying a .pak file to one of the game's directories) one of the performance mods that can be found in Nexus mods, but I can't confirm if that fixed or improved the stuttering.
In any case, there's some "traversal" stuttering when entering/exiting areas where the game has to load assets, those are inevitable but less noticeable with Frame Generation on.

If you properly configure the settings (limit your fps to 60 or 120 to avoid terrible frame pacing issues, disable some effects like depth of field to avoid frame drops during slow motion sequences, etc.) the game is an enjoyable experience with the classic Arkane elements, so tackle missions as you wish: aggressive swordplay, ranged weapons, abilities, stealth takedowns or even avoiding combat altogether.

I'm easy to please when it comes to arcade space sims, but I think this one is well executed and doesn't overstay its welcome.

It has a generous amount of mechanics and enemy types, difficulty can be adjusted as you please and graphics are very nice (it even has ray tracing reflections although they will bring your gpu to its knees).

An overall pleasant and chill experience to complete 100%.

I'm not a Harry Potter fan and even so the game has been amazing, so I imagine a fan will tear up with the attention to detail and overall quality.

The game allows you to focus on the main story and completionists will find a ton of all type of collectibles and puzzles spread all over the open world, specially in the Hogwarts Castle and Hogsmeade. I thought they would be a chore, but the game has several ways to point out what you're missing and where, although you may need help with a guide in a few occasions.

It doesn't really have any innovation in its mechanics, but it uses good known formulas for open-world RPGs (level, spells and item progression, character and item customization, a small player hub that will expand throughout the adventure and allows you to customize all sort of cosmetics/decoration, and lots of lore, secrets and references to be found.

After playing the disappointing sequel, I'm more inclined to review this one. It's a bread and butter open world Spiderman game but nearly everything it tries to do, it does well.

An overall satisfying experience and the PC port brings this to currently one of the most demanding games in graphics.

I couldn't program the heat level AI more unfairly even if I tried.

An enjoyable experience if you like First-Person Shooters.

The most time-wasting, unfair and boring game of all time. What's the point of hoarding chests and treasure to meet deed requirements for it to just disappear in an unfair situation. In the latest I've had, I immediately return to where the ship has sank and... the treasure has disappeared? why?
I thought "safe seas" would be a more pleasant experience but it's just garbage nonetheless.

In addition, who was the amateur that programmed the Shores of Gold tall tale?

I've played multiplayer for several dozen hours now and this has been my worst multiplayer experience in years. Design, balance, progression, HUD, gameplay, hit detection, animations, visual cues... it's all surprisingly bad. Avoid if you like quality multiplayer (or good games in general).

Although not as innovative and impacting (specially regarding the narrative) as the first game, it's still a very enjoyable experience to complete.

On the plus side, the overall performance has increased compared to the first Subnautica, higher overall fps and much less stutters.
