OK this game is basically Guitar Hero, just with more interesting and creative graphics and an interactive soundtrack.

What did I like:
- The difficulty ramped up nicely
- The gameplay was varied and fun throughout the game
- The music was fun and reacted well to what I was doing
- The look is quite interesting
- Charles Martinet, obviously

What did I not like:
- Hitting the bullseye at the end of the levels (It was basically impossible for me to do taht consistently, but that's just me)
- Would have been nice to have more variations in the music, the worlds felst not that desticed from one another

Overall:
Graphics: 8/10
Music: 8/10
Gameplay: 8,5/10

This is a nice game, doesn’t matter if you just play it casually, or if you want to hunt all the trophies.
The beginning is a bit slow, but that makes the end game even nicer, with all the movement upgrades and so on.
Could have been longer, but that's what the second part is for!

All in all I would give this game:
Graphics: 7/10
Sound: 6.5/10
Gameplay: 8/10

OK, first up, I played this with the Mod "Turok 2+", which increases the difficulty, changes weapon damages and adds secondary fire methods to most and it fiddls with the enemy AI.

After finishing it completely, I think, that Nightdive did a fantastic job in modernizing this classic gem of a game.
So if you like to shoot at dinosaurs and other crazy stuff with thic fat guns, you will have a good time here. IF you don't play this game on the higher difficulties.
If you like a challenge and sometimes overly complex level design, you will also have a good time here, IF you play on the higher difficulties.

Overall it's a really neat shooter with a big load of style and nostalgia (for me at least) and a lot of really cool guns (not you Tranquilizer Gun), that is well worth the 20€ Nighdive is charging for it.

This game is fantastic if you like Vaporwave/Synthwave as a genre of music and design, random humor from the 90's, an insane story and premis.
The gameplay is rather simple, but challenging, because it's not about going as fast as possible, but as fast as needed. It feels like a mix of twitch-based and strategy.
Grafics are nicely stylized with flashy effects and good pasing. I'm not quite sure how many rooms there are, but it sometimes felt a bit repetetive.
Enemy variety could be better, as there are only like 7 normal and 5 bosses. It would be nice to have a bit more enemy types and roomtypes.
Could be a nice possible DLC in the future.

All in all it is a very nice game, with good and fast gameplay that is fun all around, a bit repetetive at times but not to a point to be a dealbreaker.

Ok, I put a bit of time in it as you might be able to tell.

I really like the game, especially the still active development and the modding community.

I'm really not that good with it and I don't think I ever will be, but that’s ok, because trying to solve the riddles your spaghettified factory throws at you while trying to increase production to not be swamped in biters is quite the gameplay loop if I have to say so myself.

Other than that, I must warn anyone picking it up, you either hate it because it's hard to start or you will understand why a big part of the community calls it "Cractorio".

Either way I hope you have as much fun with it as I have every time, I'm at the brink of a mental breakdown because I found out that my fix for one bottleneck caused 14583 new ones while or during the times I stare into the abyss and only my dishevelled excuse for a defence systems stares back at me.

Let's see how good the expansion gets, hope it's good :)

All in all, it's a good game and as we all know, it won't ever be on sale, so buy it now and despair later :)

OK, I'll start with things I liked and afterwards list the things I didn't like. You should start with prais, so the one being criticized dosn't feel offended.....

What I liked:
- The Art
This game looks really good and is animated well, but a fews pixles more wouldn't have hurt

- The Sounddesign
The Music in this game is really good and the Voicacting is good as well, but I feel like a few more Voicactors would have made this games sounddesign even better, hearing the same persons all the time grows old fast.

- The Story
It was interesting and more or less consistend, that's something not many storydriven indietitles manage to do.

What I didn't like:
- The Pacing
This game is extremely linear. You get told everything you should do and you never really need to actually think about what you should do next. If you have multiple options you mostly just klick through every single on of them and that's it.

- The Passive-Agressive tone of most characters
Most of the characters are extremely passive agressive and get aggrevated at thing that should be absolutly fine to say normally. The Cat-Lady in the club especially, it seems to me, that she wants to be agressive/pissy and gets furious at the most normal things

- The relativly heavy political undertone of this game
I have the feeling, that during the development of this game the director or whatever came to the staff and said something like "this is not progressive enough, we must include XYZ, so we don't offend anybody" The scene where Turing makes an account for you shows this clearly. You could have just let the player type his name, gender (which really isn't important) and favorite food in a litle form. This would have been faster and would still check all those "progessive checkboxes" you like so much.

- The writing of some characters
Ok, I really don't wand to go on about this, but some characters are just so cringeworthy in their writing that I just had to include this point.

- The Story (I know I have this in the "What I liked" tab, but hear me out)
To be fair, as I already said, it is consistent and more or less well writen, but it's just not really interesting. Yes it's a good addition into the "cyberpunk" category, but except for that the story dose not get any more interesting. As soon as the novelty of it being "cyberpunk" wears off you will get bored with it, but thankfully it ends soon after that was the case for me. And shouldn't it mean "Turing the sentient machine"? In this world nearly every ROM is sapient, because they are conected to oneanother via the MeshNet, but I digress.

- The Programming
Ok, I know this is a wierd thing to talk about as a player of the game, but this game crashed multiple times and when I tried the same scene again, it worked. I was observing my system memory and CPU/GPU usage the whole time, but it seems like this game just randomly launches itself into a corner from wich it can't escape anymore and then crashes. Oh and at the beginning when you pick up the headphones the game tells you, that they "automatically connect" to available devices but you have to synch them with the laptop. If you don't and try to click on the "youtube" button the game just freezes.

Overall I still recomend this game, even though I have so many bad points. That's because I liked it overall, it is a fun litle game to play, when you have nothing else to do. But I would advise you to wait for a massive price drop or a discount of at least 60% because 20€ is way to much for a game that will mildly ammuse you for 3-4h before you get annoyed at the characters passive-aggressive way of talking.

Oh and a note to the developers: If you read this. Don't be offended, I still bought it, but pleas use these reviews to make better games next, that's the purpose of these anyways. That and showing people which games are worth buying and wich arent.
