Awesome game with a decent story.

Simcade-style car mechanics.

Fun time trial races too.

Would love to see races against ai cars added at some point.

Works very gooo with a 3 man team. Leveling up is much quicker. Burglar comes by too often tho.

Brings back so much nostalgia! I used to watch the animated series on television. I always enjoyed the adventures of these tiny blue people having to face Gargamel's evil antics!

Heavy Cargo is a great simcade for both pc & consoles. I played the Early Access release and there's already a day 1 patch that followed.

You get to pull huge trailers that can be very challenging to maneuver around some very tight turns and intersections. Thankfully you also control a co-worker who removes a few guardrails and cuts down key signage posts which makes it a much easier experience. I found this part fun, unique and immersive.

Although early access version supports wheel & pedals, I feel that kb/mouse and game controller work better atm.
There's no manual shifting whatsoever.
There's no TrackIR either.
(Maybe cuz it supports console gamers)

Some bugs I encountered...
(FIXED WITH FIRST UPDATE) -My steering wheel dead zone (when set to zero) caused the mouse cursor to vanish every time I turned my steering wheel.
-I also noticed that a couple of AI vehicles were overturning. Even my trailer spawned on top of other trailers at the rest stop once.
-Headlight illumination glare is not strong enough on the road surface.
-Cruise control was not working properly at times when driving the van.

I'm sure all these minor issues will get ironed out with future updates. I'll keep you posted in this review as things change.

Overall I highly recommend you get this Early Access game because...
-It's on sale right now at a very good price.
-It'll keep you engaged with 30 missions to start.
-There are plenty of upgrade parts for your cab-over at the Headquarters garage
-Lot's of points of interest to explore in this huge 175km² map and 'fast travel' is also an option.

Looking forward to what new features & truck brands Tox 2 will bring to us as this game matures and goes into full release someday. (I'm also a huge fan of ON THE ROAD - The Truck Simulator)

Awesome open world adventure/manager

This game is fun using a keyboard & mouse. It's also ok on PS5 DualSense controller. It's a shame my logitech G29 is not supported though.

It would be an absolutely fun, immersive & realistic simulator if it had steering wheel & pedals support.

Maybe in future updates this will be a feature?

Very good shopping simulator with cashier & stocker AI to help you get your retail business running in no time.

The positives:
This game feels fun and rewarding. I loved seeing my business expand at a good rate. (I played up to level 8). The game runs beautifully on my pc. Looking forward to this game's future updates. Very well optimized.

The negatives:
It got bit repetitive after that because leveling up was getting much harder and farther between levels. No competing businesses or other shops around the neighborhood. No theft either. Shoplifting gates, cctv cameras and security guard features would be a nice addition. Contactless POS/barcode scanner payments would be nice addition as well. Cashier gets paid way too much per day...please adjust that!

*(FIXED with latest update)* I noticed a small bug where not all price changes were being listed on the pc at the start of every new day so I had to check every product's price individually which got very tedious.

Overall, I highly recommend you play this game. Score 8/10
