While being a bit biased to Paradox, as I love their content, I can say even if I hadn't wasted my hours playing this game that it is good. The dlc is a bit overpriced, and there's alot of it. But besides that, gameplay is just looking at a map of Earth for awhile until something happens. Germany is a horrible idea to go for, as the HRE will just ♥♥♥♥ you up. I will also advise this: This game is just the pathway to selling your soul to Paradox.
