Simply from what I've been playing, it is a fun game. It's a different experience from other Online Multiplayer games I've delved into, but it's got a nice set of replayability.
You can join nearly any content in the game right now relatively quickly, most content taking about 15-20 minutes to complete. The online tools are the best I've seen for any game by a long shot. The game community is for the most part friendly to beginning players, though most of the game is played with very little verbal communication unless you join a group for content.
I think the biggest downside is that you can't play much of the older content, meaning that if you'd like to have the whole story of what has gone on in the game, you'll have to make due with videos on Youtube. Including the season content, which is live content that happens in 3 month increments.
And the seasons have time-locked things like weapons and armor that you can't usually get again after the season or event ends.
