Remembrance Day: i will not willingly worship people who participated in "Legalised Murder" I bet people would not mind doing so for people like Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer and Pedro Lopez if they went to War and fought for their "Country"!
Halloween: it is an absolute eyesore.
Christmas and it’s Music: Completely Obnoxious and pretty much is only about greed.
So Called Music known as Rap: just talking to Music, also quite frequently while usually having filthy lyrics, how and why should it even count!
Country Music.
People who ruin/have ruined things and privileges for everyone.
Anti-maskers: for being all-around idiots, annoying, and taking up precious hospital space because they are blind obstinate morons.
President Truman: For authorising the Murder of 199,000 (estimated) innocent people!

indeed, faith and obedience is not quite enough. yes, faith and the willingness to listen is very desirable. but as stated in james 2:26 "just as the body without spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead", by what is stated in this, is just believing enough to be granted life. it is in agreement with what is stated by jesus in the scripture in luke you posted.

i do agree that the demonstration of our faith is important, because just claiming to be a christian or having great faith in god, makes you no more a christian, than sitting in a garage and believing you are one makes you a car. without works, your faith means nothing and vice versa.

i appreciate your taking the time to even consider my words posted in the past there, i am indeed passionate about biblical discourse and its history\historical relivence\accuracy! anyway, appreciate the scriptures, if you are interested feel free to hit me up on discord for a chinwag, same name as here, 'jatskan'. stay safe!

I just wanted to let you know that I watched some of your conversations in your profile and How to get to Heaven guide about Jesus and noticed that you're quite knowledgeable about the Bible. I just wanted to let you know that the devil quotes Bible verses to Jesus. And now it's no different.

Jesus died for our sins so that everyone who believes in him can be saved. but how we demonstrate our faith in him, we must live a lifestyle that is in the Bible.

if you wish to continue, hit me up on discord, same name same picture. i dislike having conversations on my profile page, not because "what i say could be held against me" or whatever, it is only that it is a pain talking on steam to begin with and i do not wish to crowd my comments area with idle chatter, i love the quote system on discord. anyway, i will say that i share your sentiments when it comes to our discussion, i am very well a pragmatist and to me, you seem to know you have a brain and use it, where as the very good majority seem to prefer to be led in a state of delusion to their detriment! you however are as far as my observations have shown me, you are one of the more reasonable people, sicher bleiben und viel spaß, bis später! Yeah, the extreme nationalist / patriotic sentiment can definitely end badly - China, Russia, N. Korea are prime examples - and the U.S. too to a degree.
Although, that same attitude can be present in globalist / internationalist attitudes too. Population control is a good example; outright genocide can be condoned simply for 'the greater good'.
I think a common denominator for both problems is the manipulation of people by governments. Any extreme can be bad. Personally, I think people should be *responsibly* patriotic to whatever country they live in, otherwise they simply won't care to improve it. But again, taken to the extreme doesn't end well.

there is a big reason why i do not condone nationalism or patriotism! it is because either or both grant people the ability to commit atrocities, think little of them and play them off as unfortunate but "necessary" things, or to sum that up concisely with a rather disgusting sayings "it was for the best interest of our country" "it had to be done to keep our freedom" "they were a threat to our way of life" etc. the mental gymnastics capabilities of people who commit themselves to such petty, fruitless and damaging endeavours is absolutely astounding to me!
