Blending elements of many genres to result in a gameplay experience that not only varies in playstyles with class elements but also varies in pacing with slower mining sections allowing characters to use their utility abilities and intense waves defense and timed sections that crank up the music (which is very good) and bring contrast to the calmer segments of the game with danger and panic.

Other positive elements of the game include memorable lines and good humor, a fully interactive hub instead of a main menu, responsive fast-paced combat, randomly generated maps remove certain metas from evolving making playing a new game like exploring a new place each time and a steady sense of progression and no apparent paywalls or grinding elements with plenty of choice in perk, weapon and cosmetic upgrades.

Overall this is a great game that focuses on my favorite elements of co-op game modes and mixes it up with new elements. (Side note as of buying this has been advertised as early access however as far as I am concerned it seems like a complete game and the only thing seemingly missing is content and the game works fine, it also seems that the game is receiving regular updates) .
