2 years on and I finally decide to purchase Cyberpunk because I was convinced to by Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.

I enjoy the game, the bugs are mostly gone (the only issues I really encountered was crashing while driving around for whatever reason at the very very start of the game, a few animation glitches and cars spawning in each other which resulted in expected physics engine breakages.)

The game looks amazing, the only game I have played that could compete with these graphics (even with ray tracing off [my 6700 XT CANNOT handle medium reflections as per the Digital Foundry graphics settings recommendations unless I massively reduce some graphics settings) would be Forza Horizon 5 or Fortnite (I ♥♥♥♥ you not) at max settings in Unreal Engine 5.1.

The game definitely hits the right level of futuristic dystopia overrun by greedy corporations (corpos) but it just doesn't feel 55 years in the future.

Guns are fun and even the base game has really good customisation and overall replay ability and content, I am 34 hours in on this run and I still have a lot I can do (I have finished main story).

Sorry for the patchy review but tl;dr: 9/10, good graphics, good game, story a bit underwhelming but is made up for through the multiple endings and "side mission" content
