From the ashes of deprevaty rises the phoenix of quality. How else to describe The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe?

Such a revolutionary step forward in the lineage of one of the most beloved video game properties of all time! The additions and changes made to this expansion will surely resonate in the annals of the history of all media ever made.

It is perhaps true to say that no mistakes are ever forever etched in stone, for the stone into which The Stanley Parable was carved has itself been transmuted, offering a message of hope to those who have ever erred in their judgement. You are not beyond redemption. You may change, and you may become more, so much more than you were before. (This actually affects me deeply and personally, as I have lost many friends and have wondered many times if redemption was but an impossibility.)

If there is any message to be taken from the Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe, it is this:

What a fortune, a privilege, a joy it is to have had such an experience. It leaves me hopeful that as a community – as a world, there is time for us to become our greatest selves, as great as we ever could dream of in our wildest, most ambitious visions for a brighter future.

Art is significantly improved over the first game, and quality of life improvements plus "Mew Game Modifiers" increase the replay value more than the original.

At no point did you feel like the difficulty was unjustified since the enemy levels are clearly stated if they're too far above your current level.

Wonderful job Gentlebros!

Got the game with Journey as a bundle.

The visuals are a very nice upgrade from the console versions with much better draw distance, but where it fails is the audio. Audio seems to be missing fader controls for some important sound effects and either end abruptly or are far too loud.

I would still recommend playing the console version if you want the full immersive audio. This port is for dramatic visual upgrades in case you want 4K at 60fps or higher.

Excellent game, mediocre port on account of the audio issues which don't seem to be getting resolved.

Like the train dodge parts in Mirror's Edge, except with cats.

Might be worth playing with the first person mod once mods are re-enabled.

No Tux, No Bux.

Edit: No really, Epic officially dropping Linux support means you shouldn't pay a dime for this game.

Edit 2: You should boycott them for basically pulling Steam support for new players.

Never has a game that I've experienced tugged at raw human emotion more than this game. As a person that played the game for the story, I was close to tears multiple times during the game.

The question of who you really are is one that resonates to the core. The execution of the concept as you find out about your two pasts is the best part about the story.

Gameplay was exactly what I expected from a 2D platformer and Hack and Slash game, but what really sold me (as I've already explained above) was the story. It reminds me of Historical Chinese TV Soap Operas/Dramas, but 2x better.

Please, there's totally room for a sequel, and I'd love it if they make a full 3D platforming game out of this one.

This totally should belong in your collection. Just, if there's anyone emotionally sensitive nearby whilst playing any of the cutscenes, grab a box of tissues.

P.S: DEFINTELY get it if you're a fan of anthro.

This is a nostalgia trip you HAVE to take! With a soundtrack that is unique and unmatched going beyond the definition of awesone, modernized point and click adventure mechanics, and visuals that calm the soul with it's simplicity, this Canadian Videogame Awards winner is a must own! 9001/10.
