Early Access Review
Building up a house or a city is fun but what is even better? Building up a whole planet! Well, in Plant Crafter at least atmosphere and biological wise. The game has a relaxing tone with a great exploration reward system. E.g. discovering the different planet zones and caves. Then abviously it is a great pleasure to see how the environment and the planet changes slowly with the terraforming progress.

The sound and music design is fine to good, considering the size of the developer team. While grafics could be a bit more ambitious. Especially regarding water and lightning effects. E.g. in the night, object contrasts are unrealisticly ugly.

For the stuff which is implemented yet, I have notably not run into game breaking bugs. The object clipping is sometimes a bit harsh and for some objects the collision query doesn't work always.

At the time of this review I am playing the game during early access in Jan 2023, so the scope and size of the game is still limited and that is fine and the game shows already a lot of potential. On the wishlist is:
- More complexity in resources, crafting and terraforming
- More visible or notable details/effects of the terraforming
- Different planet/map types with different challenges (other weather, other elements, gas, gravity,...)
- More unknown/strange/extraterrestrial zones and biomes
- Just a little bit more elements for housing
- Coop (if doable?)
