Finished the game on PS5 prior to purchasing on Steam ($7.50).

Rating: 7/10 (Average)

Pros:
- The story is decent and does Batman justice in the beginning cutscene.
- The map design and atmosphere is good (not as good as Arkham Knight though).
- The characters are represented well - Nightwing, Barbara, Alfred and Batman are portrayed accurately and I could picture this game being part of the Arkhamverse.

Cons:
- The combat and traversal is pretty bad. Suicide Squad, despite being a worse game has much more fluid movement, traversal and combat (especially playing as Deathstroke in Season 4).
- The RPG elements aren't great and the UI in the menu is very cluttered and looks like a mobile game.
- Red Hood being fully non-lethal using rubber bullets in the game. The charm of Red Hood being an outcast in the Bat-Family and his willingness to kill that sets him apart from the others is one of my favourite traits regarding his character, which this game removed, making him one of the worst and least interesting characters out of the 4 playables.

If you are doing a playthrough of the Arkham Franchise I would recommend adding this game to the playthrough instead of Suicide Squad.

Campaign: 8/10
Zombies: 8/10
Multiplayer: 7/10
Overall (8/10)

The Campaign - It is not as good as Cold War.
The story implemented missions with a similar layout to Control (2019) and Atomic Heart (2023). It also has some open world missions that have been perfected compared to the lackluster ones from Modern Warfare III (2023). Overall every mission was entertaining and the campaign lasted around 7 hours.

The Zombies -
At the time of writing this review, Zombies has 2 maps (Liberty Falls and Terminus).
Terminus is the better of the maps, with a very dark tone and is reminiscent of Black Ops 1, with maps like Call of The Dead.
Liberty Falls is more open and is beginner friendly, I can't think of any prior zombies map it reminds me of.

The Multiplayer - The weakest part of the game (but still good).
The maps are the main issue. Vorkuta, Vault, Derelict and Payback are my least favourite, with pretty much every map being riddled with visibility issues (realistic lighting) and head glitches.
Nuketown, Babylon, Subsonic and Skyline, warhead and stakeout are really enjoyable maps.

COD HQ is also really terrible.

Pretty entertaining.

Pros:
Shooting mechanics are good.
Visually and graphically nice.
The idea and gameplay is fairly unique, and feels like an indie game made with love.

Cons:
Doesn't work perfectly with 32:9 monitors.
Jumping platform to platform feels very weird (might be better with controller).

I would recommend buying, it's reasonably priced and quite entertaining.

6/10

Works well with a 32:9 monitor, and so far has run smoothly (except for 1 crash after leaving Coruscant).
Completed the game on release day using a PS5 and the experience on PC seems pretty similar so far.
Worth buying on sale ($30USD) if you have a high end PC, otherwise I would recommend playing this game on a console instead.

CONS:
- Some visual issues with Cal's hair during cut scenes.
- Prone to crashes.
- EA Launcher/App.
- Common issues with poor performance and stuttering.

PROS:
- More customisation (outfits, haircuts...)
- Visually a beautiful game (Map design, environment)
- Cameron Monaghan.

7/10 (When the game actually launches).
It's a good game, with some issues.

- Interactive Map is terrible, very confusing to navigate sometimes, especially on Dathomir.
- EA Launcher is very hit or miss (sometimes I can't even play the game).
- Certain enemy types not appearing once you finish the story. (Makes 100% completion a headache).
- No unskippable cutscenes (almost a deal breaker for my 4th play through)

I did enjoy Jedi: Fallen Order more than I enjoyed Jedi: Survivor.

6/10 - Average Looter Shooter.

In comparison to the Arkham Series (Same Universe and Developer), it is a major disappointment.
Transversal and Combat is satisfying, but the gameplay overall is very repetitive and soulless.
(The campaign just has you do the same 4-5 missions over and over).

Sweet Baby Inc's involvement within games right now is leading to some pretty bad decisions and is sacrificing the quality of the story for the sake of injecting politics.
If you see Sweet Baby Inc is involved in any future games you are interested in, I'd recommend waiting for a sale (It won't take long).

If you are still interested in this game despite the bad reviews and controversy, I'd recommend waiting for a sale.
(It's currently $20USD).

Rest in Peace, Kevin Conroy.

𝘼 𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙥 𝙙𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙤𝙪𝙨 𝙁𝙖𝙧 𝘾𝙧𝙮 𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙡𝙚𝙨

𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐒:
- Great graphics and map design
- Gun play and customisation is nice
- The Stranger Things DLC was enjoyable
- Well Optimised for PC
- Good value when on sale ($15USD)

𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐒:
- Story is just meh
- Recycled 'Ubisoft Formula' / Gets very repetitive and doesn't really add anything new to the Far Cry Genre.
- The Quality of cut scenes felt rushed and not as impressive as other AAA games.
- Wasted potential with Giancarlo Esposito
- The main city (Esperanza) is dead and continues to be in lock down after the main story is complete.
(Permanent Anti-Aircraft Guns). Most of the city is also inexplorable.

Interesting characters with some of the best action and missions in the franchise.
One of the best open world sandbox experiences outside of Grand Theft Auto.

Would Highly Recommend.

5/10

Pretty bland and uninspiring story with forgettable characters.
The things that made the past Saints Row games great are not included in this story.

Although the game as a whole is not great, the character customisation is one of the best I've seen.
The driving mechanics aren't terrible, and the shooting could be better.

Story - 2/10
Gameplay - 7/10
Free Roam - 7/10

Would recommend on sale ($10USD) to goof around with friends on co-op.
