Update: Havent played much since launch, frankly doesnt bring me back at all like other monster hunter games have, And Gameplay doesnt hold up as well as previous entries for staying interesting. Performance still not much better, but atleast im not crashing as much anymore

I love this game, i love this franchise, but this game is borderline unplayable due to performance even on a BEAST of a computer

first 3 hours no crashes, after that non stop crashes every few minutes, well over 10 crashes, half of which leads to bluescreen. After kneecapping my settings and turning off AMD Upscaling game is no longer crashing but performance is atrocious

7900 XT
9800x3d
Odyssey g9 49" monitor
Playing game in 1440p windowed mode
On medium preset as baseline and alot of things turned down from what medium recommends

Barely getting 80 fps standing still in one of the cave area
dipping below 40 fps during a fight with a certain fire monster

No significant programs open in the background
