Certainly a fun experience, alone or with friends, even strangers if you're lucky. The amount of fun you can have is nearly limitless since community modding is highly prominent. Not just custom characters or whacky mechanics, but if you want a completely new game, there are mods that do that. (Check out: "SmashUp" a fun little mod that makes a cool version of Smash Bros. off of Facebook Marketplace).

Even as someone who hasn't beaten the game, I can definitely say exploring is the best feeling ever. I'm still learning more and more as my experience flourish under curiosity.
