Atmosphere and Sound engineering 10/10 - the audio work on this game is exceptional and will entirely draw you into the experience and keep you immersed. The entire environment is alive and keeps you guessing and tense.

Game mechanics 7/10 - the game mechanics are a little difficult and some of the interactions can be problematic to figure out, but overall not too complicated and once you're playing and have controls sorted, you're fine. Some of the mechanics get a little repetitive towards the end quarter of the game.

Gameplay and Story 9/10 - very true to the source material, this looks and feels like being part of the cinematic world of Aliens. The story is well written, if slightly predictable in some areas. Some of the back and forth to locate items might be frustrating to some players, but overall a solid story and engrossing gameplay. The environment is well crafted with attention to detail, and nothing is as nerve wracking as crawling through potentially occupied air vents.

Horror 11/10 - Going up against the Xenomorph is horrifying and nerve wracking, the movements and interactions are top tier, this is one of the most iconic horror antagonists and the game does the experience of facing a xenomorph justice. Facing multiple is terrifying.
