In my opinion, the best 4X game available. Make sure to get Brave New World, the most recent expansion, since it adds a whole bunch of gameplay mechanics and also includes changes that were in Gods and Kings, the first expansion.

GTA-style game set in Hong Kong. Batman AC-style combat, but with guns added in later on. Could it get any better?

SUPER hard game but insanely rewarding. It will bring you down to your lowest level, make you want to cry, and laugh at you. And you will accept it and try again.
