This is an unreal engine game and as expected it's an absolute stutter fest. The visual design is interesting and the cloth physics are nice but it stutters so much that it makes it extremely painful to play.

The game is essentially a walking simulator where what you do has absolutely no effect on the world. There's a few extremely easy puzzles that are completely uninteresting mixed with weirdly hard and simply bad 2d minigames.

The game is just weird for the sake of being weird but never explains anything. The story is just something that happens. The dialogue is extremely flat. Half the time a character will say something and nobody ever reacts to what was said. The game just keeps going. It honestly felt like a bug that failed to trigger some voice lines.

The trailers are probably the most entertaining aspect of this game. It looked super interesting, but the actual game is just boring and not entertaining. The praying mechanic from the demo looked like it could have potential, but it's barely used.

The voice actor for the demon voice did a great job though. That was pretty much the only highlight.

It was a bit short but the execution is really good. Everything is very well polished. This has the potential to become a nice series of detective stories.

The game could be great, I really like what I played but it's filled with bugs. It suffers from a death by a thousand cut situation. Each issue on it's own is fine, but when combined together it makes for a very frustrating experience.

The audio is constantly clipping for no reason.
The lighting it constantly flickering.
The controls are absolutely terrible and you can't remap anything. Running with the B button on the controller means you can't control the camera so you can't see where you are going.
Some jumping puzzles are almost impossible because the rocks simply disappear and the hitbox are different to the shape you actually see.
The menus are really buggy if by accident your mouse is over one of the menu everything breaks when using a controller.
The framerate constantly drops. Considering how little there is on screen at any given time, this really shouldn't happen.
When I open the map for the first time after loading a game nothing is revealed, I need to go to another menu and back to the map to actually reveal everything I have found.

This game has so much potential, but the technical issues makes it an incredibly frustrating experience.

This feels like an Early Access game.

EDIT: The latest update added remapping, it's certainly an improvement, but for me that was the most minor complain compared to all the other issues.

The game was fun, but the multiplayer UI is pretty much broken. It feels like an early access game. If someone else presses on a button during character creation then whatever menu you were looking at will close. There's also a bunch of menu that randomly updates because someone else clicked on something.

The game was fun, but it feels really off, as if the maps aren't synced at all to the song. Sometimes it just feels like a delay, but sometimes it feels like the notes are entirely unrelated to the song.

Pros:
- Song selection
- Viking gimmick (it's a gimmick, but it's nicer than the epileptic background of beat saber)

Cons:
- The maps are sometimes either out of sync or simply not mapped with the song
- The drums placements should really be curved inwards, the two farthest drums are really annoying to reach sometimes
- NO VOLUME SLIDER IN A MUSIC GAME (this is really annoying, the music is way too loud and I shouldn't need to go back in windows to change it)
- If you open the menu it doesn't pause the game. I guess it makes sense in multiplayer, but in single player it's offputting.

Overall, the song selection is much better than beat saber, but slicing cubes feels a thousand times better than hammering drums. I enjoyed my time with it and I will give it a positive rating despite the flaw since it's early access, but I want to reiterate that the maps feel weird most of the time.

Edit: As of update #2 they added a volume slider and latency setting. I haven't tried it yet, but it should help with my list of cons.

If you liked Deus Ex: Human Revolution you will probably like this one. While the story isn't that great, there are still a couple of choices here and there that can influences the story partially.

What is really good in this game though is the gameplay. Taking your time to stealth through the whole game and not kill anyone makes you appreciate this even more. The level design is very open most of the time and let's you finish a level in multiple ways which is only a good thing.

If you fail a level continuously try doing something different and you will most likely find a way.

Performance wise for my setup it was great but I can only speak for me. I have an i7 6700k 16gb DDR4 ram and a GTX 970.

The only problem I have is the bad ultrawide support. At launch all the icons in the world were offset this is issue has now been fixed, but now some menus are stretched and they have been like that for a while now.
