Admired by many, Marci's origins are known to nameless few. She travels mostly in the company of the Princess Mirana, but the roots of their friendship are entwined in secrets neither would ever needlessly reveal. To allies, she serves as a fierce and honest companion. To enemies, she acts as dauntless deterrence against harming any she deems friend. Though unwise opponents may consider her size unremarkable, Marci possesses an inner power that imbues her strikes with incredible might. She'll decimate those who think to test her, but those who earn her favor will have an unflappable confidant for life.

Marci has brown hair and amber eyes that glow golden when she taps into her power. Her usual outfit is a light blue and white tunic with a dark green cloak over it, black pants and brown boots.
Her hair is usually tied up with bangs half framing her face. Around her waist is a pouch and on her back is a backpack with a spyglass, which she mostly uses to help Mirana find her targets.

Marci, despite being mute, is very expressive through body and facial language. Mirana and Davion both can hold a conversation with her despite it being mostly one sided. Mirana often responds to Marci without having to see her face in some cases. In kind, Marci responds to Mirana in smug or incessant ways. Marci is fiercely loyal to Mirana, and follows her without hesitation.

Marci has little to no fear when facing opponents, even if they vastly outsize her. Her small stature leads people to underestimate her. She has no trouble sending larger people flying with only a few strikes. She can also easily carry an unconscious Davion, and she could half-lift Mirana's large feline Sagan.

Marci grew up as a servant child in the Helio Imperium. At some point, other servant kids attacked her which left her battered and bruised, and unable to speak. As a result, Marci and her family were promoted, with Marci being made Mirana's handmaiden. Those who harmed her were demoted or cast out, with the worst facing a punishment akin to what Marci endured. Mirana and Marci bonded with Mirana referring to Marci by name instead of "girl" or "handmaid".

On the night Mirana's parents were killed, Marci and Mirana were led by Asar to safety. Asar and the girls eventually got separated which led to Mirana and Marci running away by themselves. They encountered an enemy knight, who swatted Marci away and began to drag Mirana away. Before they could get far, a power awoke within Marci, allowing her to take down the knight. Both girls managed to escape from the Helio Imperium to the Nightsilver Woods.
