The game is all about the experience. Having a taste of what war can cause to people and the society, and This War of Mine delivers it really well.
One of the hardest and saddest moments i can tell is not actually when you see a group of armed people while scavenging during the night but (spoiler ahead) when you visit a house that is full of good items, but the only two people are an old couple who can't defend themselves and just ask the player not to take a lot of things and to leave them be.

The art style that was used makes the experience feel even better, because it matches really well with the ambience of the game, and the sound design is just perfect. It's one of the few games that i take my time to write a review and can easily recommend it.
