Dev decided to add a ridiculous p2w gacha system with FOMO mechanics and a new currency that costs cash, meaning people who spent money on the older currency can't even use that to buy the gems required for the system. Also it costs more than most gacha games and you don't even get a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ waifu for it. If someone is going to spend $50-$1000 on gacha, they better get some incredibly nice looking pixels out of it.

Stay away if you aren't a whale.

(btw I mainly play on the web version, not steam, so I DO have about 10k+ hours spent on the game easy)

Great characters with interesting storylines, awesome soundtrack that Spotify still likes to recommend to me randomly, with simple retro character art that works with the cyberpunk theme really well. I'm not usually into visual novels but this game and it's characters have stuck with me. It's worth it even at full price.
