Made me break my right ring finger out of frustration. Golden age of this game was at release and maybe within the first year, when the game's only population wasn't the chivalry type animation exploiter. Failed management by the devs eventually made this game suffer the same fate as chivalry. It doesn't feel satisfactory when someone hits you with a swing that was clearly blocked on your screen. There were solutions planned, but weren't implemented.

With all that money they gathered in those 4 years of "game devolepment" they should have hired someone who knows how to code a game properly, instead of lying to the community and financing behind the communitys back their stupid bohemia interactive simulations with all that dayz money.

Update 2019: The developers have no shame and demand money for a lackluster map dlc to the game, while modders add better maps for free and do better work at developing the game when the developers ever did.

Don´t get yourself fooled here, the amount of money the devs got from the standalone game was enourmous and a free map update should have been an obviousness.

This right here is utter disrespect to the consumer again.
Don´t buy the cashgrab dlc, the devs hope for your naivety while spitting in your face, some R.E.T.A.R.D.S. will defend the game but be wary.

Statistics and experience shows, that with the budget that the game gathared, bugs and errors could have been easily removed in a much shorter time than rather the 6 years of "development" and ongoing bugs.

In terms of weapon handling and dealing damage to over players the game is very realistic, which I very like as a fellow red orchestra 2 player.
But who the hell sprints with a weapon holding it right before his eyes, so you cant see anything? (for example the m14 or m16a1 or svd).
These things make the game annoying (atleast for me).
Or the fact that Americans cant use their primary weapon in a tunnel but the Vietnamese can, like the Americans would get scared, because they enter a tunnel and leave their primary weapon before the entrance (no logic).
Or the poor soundtrack through out the game (the only good soundtrack is the main menu theme run through the jungle blablalbla | the rest is trash so dont pay extra cash for that stupid digital deluxe thing).

If they would lower the weapon model of some guns and adjust the running animations and game mechanics they game would be 10/10.
For now i can give 6/10
