I remember the e3 2011 gameplay, that was the game I was shown and wanted to buy, not this ♥♥♥♥.
False advertising got the better of me in 2013.

Incredibly good game!
Started in 1066 as King Boleslaw of Poland. Kept declaring holy wars on the pegans in the north.
Converted them to the only one true faith.
Some time later the pope called on all of chirstiendom for a crusade for Jerusalem.
My heart filled with joy upon those news.
I selected my daughter Dobronega as beneficiary.
I marched all the way from Krakow through Constantinople with 6 thousand men to finally reach Jerusalem.
Where I sieged it down and with that done my daughter became the Queen of Jerusalem the first Polish Piast Queen, which I played as her from now on.
Every muslim that rebelled against my rule, was either burned on a stake or thrown into prison and forcefully converted.
Unfortunetly I could not have any heirs of my dynasty because the succesion wasn't matrilineal.
Thank god my archbishop helped me out with that since he became my lover.
Thus my bastard princess Kristina came to be.
I then legitimized her and now the succession is safe.

without mods like Kaiserreich this game would be garbage

Made me break my right ring finger out of frustration. Golden age of this game was at release and maybe within the first year, when the game's only population wasn't the chivalry type animation exploiter. Failed management by the devs eventually made this game suffer the same fate as chivalry. It doesn't feel satisfactory when someone hits you with a swing that was clearly blocked on your screen. There were solutions planned, but weren't implemented.

100times better than Red Orchestra 2 sad but true. (even then you compare the grahpics)

With all that money they gathered in those 4 years of "game devolepment" they should have hired someone who knows how to code a game properly, instead of lying to the community and financing behind the communitys back their stupid bohemia interactive simulations with all that dayz money.

Update 2019: The developers have no shame and demand money for a lackluster map dlc to the game, while modders add better maps for free and do better work at developing the game when the developers ever did.

Don´t get yourself fooled here, the amount of money the devs got from the standalone game was enourmous and a free map update should have been an obviousness.

This right here is utter disrespect to the consumer again.
Don´t buy the cashgrab dlc, the devs hope for your naivety while spitting in your face, some R.E.T.A.R.D.S. will defend the game but be wary.

Statistics and experience shows, that with the budget that the game gathared, bugs and errors could have been easily removed in a much shorter time than rather the 6 years of "development" and ongoing bugs.
