TRT: The Game

As someone who put more than 250 hours into the first Frostpunk, this is the exact kind of successor I imagined and wanted. Instead of managing a tiny settlement of survivors, you now command the entire greater city that survived and the surrounding frostland, which you expand into and slowly colonize. The game unfortunately seems poorly optimized, especially in later stages of the game where you have a big area to command. I'm hoping that the developers will optimize it further.

As someone who never played the original dead space and only played ds2 and ds3. This feels just generic and uninspired. Don't get me wrong, it's a good game, dead space after all. But it only feels like that, just more dead space. The game doesn't keep me in suspense or wanting to play more. Feels simply boring playing it. Necros become predictable very easily, it's pretty much "pick this up" and the necros appear. Literal Rosamunde Pilcher game design. Overall game feels like a graphical upgrade of the first dead space and that's it, with the only big change of Isaac speaking. Which for me is not really new since he spoke in ds2 and ds3.
