Honestly, comparing the campaign to the first ever men of war is just depressing. Every campaign mission is just an ai match basically where you need to capture points and you unlock new reinforcements till you just beat the map, repeat this like 5 times and add one ♥♥♥♥♥♥ stealth optional mission which doesn't really work well in this game and then copy paste this formula for every nation in the game. And apparently the dlc for this game locks exclusive features like a vs bot game mode aside from the campaign and proper third person camera, wtf. It sucks too cause I loved playing the first ever men of wars campaign mode co op with my friend, and I was looking forward to men of war 2 but that is another dumpster fire that chose to copy company of heroes instead :\

Probably the closest PVE game can get to perfection, it is absolutely amazing. I sunk a lot of hours on this when my friends had the game pass, and I am looking forward to dropping a lot more once the new season starts and my friends all get back together.

For a fun game, there is a lot of things holding this game back.

Whether it be absolutely poor balancing choices and have the lead balance designer mock people for their opinions, especially in a PVE game where the main objective should be letting guns be fun instead of nerfing anything that is popular.

Or the amount of frustrating gameplay bugs which break a weapon, map, your character, monsters, or ruining your enjoyment by sticking you in a wall so you can't leave...or the fairly common crash occurrences.

Or the fairly bland planets which are pretty much identical to one another, I will give that the jungle/swamp based maps are really pretty like malevolan creek

To the feeling of 0 progress as we won't really progress in any war effort or planets until the devs have decided that they are ready to push us back or forward to new areas.

Or the HORRIBLE micro-transactions in a paid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game where you lock new weapons behind a paywall, you can get the warbonds for free but it is a very long grind especially if you play the game infrequently.

Or the FOMO feeling of missing out on objectives or events because the community can clear them very quickly, meaning you may miss out on experiencing the big events.

Also the absolutely terrible community managers or devs who will insult, ban or whatever else anyone on a whim; one got fired and apparently he wasn't even the worse one lmfao. Then people decided to treat him as a saint for saying to review bomb the game because of the PSN fiasco, despite the fact he was the most vocal one supporting it in the first place...not to mention he swapped sides once everyone already posted a negative review LOL

Imo it's clear arrowhead is way too inexperienced with making games, Helldivers 1 was regarded as a fairly bad game by those who played it; and for their second game to suddenly be one of the biggest games on steam will put a massive spotlight on you. I believe the core mechanics are there for a very fun and enjoyable game, especially if you play with friends. It'll just take a lot of time and learning from the devs, and if they're truly passionate then I believe this game will go places. Until then, it's enough for some quick fun but falls short to other co op shooters such as Deep Rock Galactic.

This game is great if it didn't have endless connection and server issues, hackers in every 5th server, what seems to be like a very bad build as a lot of my friends over time ran into performance issues, and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Seer. I hope he loses the ability to fire guns in compensation to his kit.

I've wanted to get this game for a while now, and I never was able to get it. Recently a friend bought this for me and I finally was able to play it. I was expecting it to be good, but I wasn't expecting what it turned out to be. It is easily in the top 3 favourite games of mine, alongside Witcher 3; it's also easily the best platformer I've ever played.

Story: To say I didn't cry at the first 10 minutes like a baby is a lie, cause I did. I also cried 2 more times later on in the game, I was not expecting the game to be so sad and tragic a majority of the time. And yet the story still has moments which are filled with utter joy and such, making you smile and admire the game. The story was more than just the typical bad villain and hero main character, it played a story of how there was no good or evil side to anyone.

Graphics: I'm sure everyone knows by now that this game is visually stunning, the art style and the colours make the world seem alive and beautiful, even when at the brink of collapse. The characters are nicely drawn so they all have their own character to them. I'm in no surprise that this game beat Bloodborne for best art directive in the game awards, because this game absolutely deserved to.

Gameplay: Controlling Ori is a lot of fun, you have dashes, blinks, triple jumps, ground slams. Compared to games like Super Mario this feels amazing, there's a lot more movement and choice as to how you'll take on enemies. It sort of reminds me of a more light bullet hell, where enemies have certain attack patterns and counters where you have to dodge and such. This game can also be brutal, I died so many times I lost count and I was also playing just normal difficulty. There's a difficulty where if you die once you die forever, I can't imagine how people beat it on that difficulty without using glitches... I'd say the game can be more challenging than dark souls, imo dark souls is a rythym game in terms of fighting enemies with constant bs happening. This game is sort of like that but a lot less bs as it's really simple yet still delivers a challenge.

Music: Beautiful music, not a single one I wouldn't like. It fits with the situations as well as the worlds, listening to the music while escaping the water flow from the water tree was amazing. It's clear a lot of passion went into the making of the music, and the piano was used amazingly.

Verdict: 10/10 I enjoyed this game a lot, there were moments and times where I got frustrated due to difficulty but I'm probably just bad. I cannot recommend this game more, and if you haven't given this a try yet then please pick it up. It's worth the money. The game is around 8 hours long with more time available if you want to discover the whole map and 100% it. Personally I cannot wait for the sequel, it's gonna be amazing.

Dota 2 fans will probably get triggered by this, but honestly I don't give a ♥♥♥♥ anymore.

Dota 2 is a pretty bad moba, I'm gonna be comparing it to league (the moba I play more)

The engine that runs dota 2 is really poor, although I can't be suprised because it is after all made by valve. In league I can play on medium high at 60fps while the game still looks really good, in dota I run on barely nothing at 50fps making everything look like ass.
The fact all heroes are free is a kind of bad thing in my opinion, when I first played dota I played Rikki and only Rikki and I never had the feeling of trying out someone new; but since I started playing again I tried out a bunch of new heroes (Sven, Sniper, Spirit Breaker, jugg, legion commander). All the dota heroes feel overpowered but I guess it makes the game kinda fun. Couriers are a stupid idea in my opinion, the fact that you can get items delivered to you while still farming is kinda stupid; it gives people no chance really to push or roam and make plays.
In league there are a bunch of rules (Not always followed though) You would have a top laner who is either a tank or a brawler, a jungler, a mid laner who is a mage or an assassin, and bot lane would be an attack damage carry and a support. On dota I can just see it's carry,carry,carry,carry,support and maybe sometimes a jungler.
Secret shops are just outright stupid, I don't like how you have to walk to a secret shop just so you could buy 1 thing and complete a recipe or something.
There are no specials in dota like flash or teleport or anything, instead it's usually found in items; the blink dagger is just stupid in my opinion as it allows a fed ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ursa to blink like 20 miles and kill you with only a 20 second cooldown, a flash in league is pretty small and it's like a 400 second cooldown which allows junglers to gank them better as they don't have a safe escape.
All the heroes feel kinda dull to play too, I just prefer how alive and real the league champions feel compared to the dota ones.
There are way too many microtransactions in dota, announcers, terrain skins, hero skins which look like a single hat or something. In league skins can completely change the look of a champion as well as changing his or her callback and animations and quotes too.
The range of view is kinda stupid too, especially in midlane where a slight dip means you can't see ♥♥♥♥ anywhere.
Runes are a weird thing but I'm ok with those.
The monster in dota (forgot it's name) dire? Is stupid, in League the dragon and baron gives buffs to your whole team while dire drops a single item which brings you back alive when you die...
However there are things Dota does a lot better.
No ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pay towin runes in dota (I think)
Communication is a bit better as you can draw ♥♥♥♥♥ usefull information for your team, as well as the fact your heroes say a line such as "top missing" so that people that are busy in a fight or something can know.
However, the game feels easier than league, I was thinking I would need to be carried because I haven't played in like 2 years but instead, I carried 3/4 games and won 3/4 games. Going like 18/2/16 as Sven with a quadra kill.
Also a lot of dota players seem to be sissy's and just quit games whenever they start losing or cry in vc because they don't like the team...
This is my OPINION and if you think I'm an idiot for stating an OPINION then it's k.
I don't give a ♥♥♥♥ anyway.
