Balatro is Balatro.

PROS:
- Fun MP
- Fun feeling zombies
- Interesting Campaign

CONS:
- Necessity for Always Online (Specifically in the Campaign)
- Above mentioned thing causes frustration when there's a sudden packet burst and you haven't reached a new checkpoint
- Some descriptions of weapons contain features that doesn't exist (Looking at you, HE-1)
- Goofy ahh bugs (reloading in zombies being extra slow both in the action itself and the movementspeed since the season 1 patch)

Overall a 7.6/10, Hope there's some quick patches that fixes the small gripes I have with the game.

This game might seem "simple" at first (being a Deck building rogue-like), but it has such a great charm. The sounds as well really makes the game feel amazing.

I've seen peeps compare this to Balatro, but I'd say it feels a bit more like Slay The Spire :)


Definitely recommend this game to anyone who likes gambling, deck builders, black jack, or rogue likes :)

Tried it, didn't like it.

When I went to uninstall the game, it took 4 attempts and 2 days for it to actually uninstall, so seems quite suspicious.

Got to day 14, got massacred by dogs.

10/10 experience

Peggle but roguelike, what's not to love?

12 hours in, I think I'm at the end of the "main" quest, the one that starts off with Kamala Khan (barely done Sidequests, mostly focused on doing the story). The gameplay is lovely, and felt nicer than I thought it did from only watching gameplay of it.

It's a bit grindy (Division/borderlans/Destiny- esque gear score leveling), but so far it's been fun. Considering the release of the next patch in March 2023, ALL Marketplace items; skins, nameplates, emotes, Challenge Cards, etc, will be FREE, so the only "cost" will be the game itself (and you'll be able to use some great outfits for your characters too).

Can recommend if you like beat 'em ups and looters.

I cannot say anything about the "Endgame" yet, but if I think it's not good, I'll edit this review and specify that.

Fun game, love the speed, decent difficulty.

Definitely recommended if you are looking for something else to broaden your palette.
