So, I've played this game quite a bit, and I can safely say this is by far the best F2P game available on steam that's worth more than 25+ hours. I will admit I was extremely hesitant to pick it up since all I had to go by was reccomendations from my internet friends, needless to say I am 100% happy I did take the plunge.

So gameplay wise it starts out as a pretty standard Instance-based looter shooter with a CRAP TON of characters and weapons to work torwards to. But every new story based quest and large update throws in new mission types and curveballs at you (and this is what DE is really good at, updating frequently). Every mission is a thrill and with the Parkour system you can bullet jump and wall run past enemies while blasting them with your Ak-47esque Soma or smash them to pieces with the Fragor hammer. The Customization is also so in-depth no two players will ever looks the same.

The Story is a bit slow paced but as of late DE has been really pushing the envelope in what they achieved. When I first started aside from the first quest there was almost no stoary aside from the beggining quest, but ever since the "Second Dream" update they've been spinning a rather interesting tale while touching up on the topics of "What is a Warframe?" and "Where do they get their powers?". I won't spoil it here since I think it's best to go in blind story-wise but I can tell you it takes alot of inspiration from European Sci-Fi and less from things like Star Wars.

So if you've read thru all of this and are still interested here's some quick tips.
1. Save your starter plat for warframe and wepon slots, you'll need those before you ever get cosemetics and you can always trade for/buy more plat down the road.

2. Be ready to do your research. Sadly the game will not hold your hand, in fact quite the opposite, so make sure to use the warframe wiki/forums/friends in the know. I also HIGHLY reccomend watching streamers on Twitch who know their stuff, almost all of them are friendly and willing to teach new players.

3. Play at your own pace, there is so much to the game it's best not to wear yourself down by all the constant farming. Don't let yourself be carried to end game either, as you'll quickly find out you missed alotta of leveling/mods/resources along the way.

And that's all I have to say about Warframe, the little F2P game that could. Wether you end up no-lifeing it like me or play it once and never pick it up again I truly hope you at least take the plunge and see if this game is for you.
