The people being negative about this game because of microtransactions are the lowest IQ plebs I've seen ever.

Final score after playing this game for 100+ hours, 5.5/10.

The main story is short and honestly lacking imo.
Beautiful areas to explore, cool enemies, spells and effects + day and night cycle.
I finished the main story in under 30 hours which is honestly fair enough, sadly most of this time was used traveling from A to B constantly and could've been shorter if I had just used Ferrystones (Fast travel) constantly, but I do like to explore and this is where people throw most of their time into the game. Boss fights, collecting coins and chests, trying out the different classes and unlocking new ones.
Sadly the combat system seem to be extremely imbalanced. I personally hated playing a warrior after I started out as a thief. The warrior is slow but tanky, sadly it seems to be horrible against dragons or just generally bosses where you're forced to attack weak points to do proper damage. The thief is just shredding every single boss without a problem, I didn't even focus on having all the BiS Augments such as the extra damage to weak points from the archer vocation. The mage simply doesn't make sense to play, to assist your pawns in battle to overcome your enemy sounds neat, sadly the pawns are total trash in too many ways. More often than not they're just there doing something? I had my pawn as a mage to assist my thief with healing, damage buff (ice, it's a free stun/stagger just by auto attacking which is what the thief does better than anyone) and haste, sadly my pawn often just ran around and used her AoE healing/haste on herself nowhere near the rest of the group. Later on in the game I got the single target healing spell for her and I suddenly saw her healing again, still throwing her AoE's far from the group, but hey at least I had a damage buff and a heal once every what? Once every minute? Unless you actively ask your pawns to help you, half the time they seem unable to actually want to help you, other times they just keep running into things because they're trying to head straight towards you and other times they are unable to just help you up, when you've been knocked down, even though they're right next to you, for whatever reason? I found this extremely frustrating at times, I remember being knocked down by a goblin, then a hobgoblin just kept swinging at me until I was dead, fair, sure, okay why not right? So I'd use some healing from my bag, to restore my health back to full, just to be combo'd to death once more, okay? Eh I guess I'll use a wakestone, cool story, you remember that goblin and the hobgoblin? Yeah they aren't done swinging so now I'm basically dead again, so I'm in combat with a goblin and a hobgoblin cc'ing me to death constantly, amazing and what is my pawns doing? My mage is trying to get to me, but another hobgoblin is giving her trouble, my archer is focusing on dodging attacks from goblins and just killing them slowly, meanwhile my tank, the fighter is trying to help the archer and the mage. And now there's a pack of wolves dragging me away and now the mage is dead. So this became a reload to try things differently. But having to go through all that ♥♥♥♥ just to get annoyed, because pawns are programmed by what seem to be, the one and only cocaine bear, is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying. 65 euro for a game and they don't even focus on giving you a solid mate, even though you're forced to have this person with you, unless you actively kill them and choose not to ress them is just lame as ♥♥♥♥.
Sadly my experience with giving my pawns commands, to do tasks or help me in the field to reach chests and ladders are not worth bragging about either. I made sure my tank had the ability to throw me, when I stepped up onto their shield, but this only happened in combat. Outside of comback I tried to press ''go'' and ''help me'', but nothing worked, sadly it only ever worked if they chose to tell me, that they had found a chest nearby in another world and could take me there.
Fights in general was pretty boring after the first 30 fights since it's mostly the same enemies and styles we're able to face. And even though I say this, I still loved the boss fights, beating up a cyclops, ogre, minotaur, chimera or a gryphon never really felt boring imo. I loved the experience of having to avoid a charge or a massive AoE attack, having to figure out the different weak points was fun and it wasn't always easy to just jump onto someones face and start slashing, the enrage often made me have to rethink my approach, since being knocked off the back of a minotaur or gryphon while also being without stamina would suck. And the fact that a gryphon and a drake can just straight up leave the battle, was frustrating and amazing at the same time, I ended up having to fight the same gryphon 4-5 times because I was playing different vocations, normally while playing a thief I would've just killed it within 20-40 sec.
Btw. the pawns (again with the freaking pawns), why do they have to repeat themselves over and over and over again? The constant ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ everytime you see a herb or an apple, then you gotta listen to some annoying ♥♥♥♥, because you're at some certain encumbrance level and it's even worse if you keep picking stuff up, because someone in your group will tell you to give them some items and stop looting ''every small item'' you find, even though these items are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dragon scales or other rarities. And the random pawns who just walk right by, but also instantly stop you from whatever you were doing, to tell you about the lord and saviour Jesus Christ. I don't know how many pawns I have murdered or thrown into the water because of this annoyance, but I would gladly keep going if it meant Capcom would get a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ clue.
The romance system is a joke, I did all the side quests, I could find and got affinity with so many npc's, I was never gonna speak to again (was what I thought), until these stalkers showed up at my doorstep demanding a walk in the park, which in the end, ended up with ME watching the magick archer maister in the hands of a dragon, instead of Wilhelmina or Ulrika. Speaking of Wilhelmina, this ♥♥♥♥♥ was nowhere to be found after I did her quests, in my unmoored run, I was able to find her in the end, standing on her balcony acting like she just saw me an hour ago, wattafak Capcom...
I really liked Ulrika's little side story and the same with Wilhelmina, sadly I lacked a reason to actually visit any of them after their quests, but for Ulrika's quest I feel like we just straight up gave the middle finger to Melve and what about that guy Martin? We're just not gonna give a ♥♥♥♥? We were given focus to the fact that the people of Melve was attacked by dragons TWICE and that the people were scared and what not, just for the city to be swallowed by a storm and removed from the map, after we, as the player, are railroaded away from the city where our ''beloved'' Ulrika had been in command and had been caring for the townsfolk, still noone gives a ♥♥♥♥? That's just bad writing.
Pretty weird too that we have no reason to mess with Fiska after we were sold into slavery and the fact that he uses a staff to bind the slaves to his will, this doesn't seem evil at all? And in the end he turns out to be a huge douchebag like, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ no ♥♥♥♥? Forcing the slaves to die in a prison that he made them build for themselves because he was dying or died? I don't even know man, some flat ass character stuff for sure and the MC just being a clueless dummy once again...
The fact that they didn't even give the MC voice lines in dialog is horrible imo. wtf is wrong with you? Would Resident Evil have been the same if the MC's didn't have a voice? ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hell... And the sounds we're able to pick for our MC/pawns are a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ disgrace.
I avoided the crashing and what not in character creation by making a premade character and pawn wtf?
