In some ways A LOT better than Baldurs gate 3, in others, A LOT worse. The characters look bland in Pathfinder, but the stories are AMAZING, the romances are stunning but also hard to accomplish whereas in BG3 the romances are given with ease and a lot of the actual main story is bland... You'll be able to reach level 20 and even 40 (depending on your path) in Pathfinder and you'll only be able to get to level 12 in BG3, which is nice enough but you'll feel a lot stronger and experience bigger adventures and extreme enemies, avatars or overlords of demons and what not, gods even.
Items and enchants, wow... I love the items in Pathfinder, so many unique and special weapons, armor and others, though they do lack the explosives from BG3 lets be honest.
I'd give BG3 a 8 or 8.5 out of 10 and Wrath of the Righteous 9 out of 10.
