It's a neat game, but there's a bunch of things that just don't make it fun.

Primarily, it's very cluttered. You have to shove a lot of things onto one island to get them to work, and once they're put down they're there forever. You cannot get rid of them once you put them down. This leads to a lot of issues with more complex recipes (Pie and Chocolate, in my experience. I have everything I need for them but I am incapable of actually producing them). The game seems to highly incentivize knowing exactly where you're going to place things, which is kind of counter intuitive to the roguelike aspect of it. There is no flexibility in this game whatsoever.
