I've been playing games since I was a little kid in like before 2005, and I will honestly say, this is one of the greatest games I have ever played and is definitely in my top 5 all time best games, and it is an understatement to say I have played a lot of games. If you want to have you mind blown by this game, please don't give up on it too soon like I originally did, the start is definitely a little slow, but once you get passed Margit and Godrick through Stormveil, the game really opens up and I suggest exploring all that you can. My suggested path is Limgrave -> Weeping Pennisula -> Stormveil -> Liurnia and more so. Also be sure to check what merchants have if you are doing a completely blind playthrough because they have notes to help you explore and progress!

I'm a game dev student currently studying at a university level regarding game design.

I will say this game isn't the best, but it isn't the worst either, I had a lot of fun playing it with my friend, and we generally do go and buy games we think will be bad to have fun and make fun of, but in this game we didn't make fun of it as much as we normally do.

The Mannequins were fun to deal with, you have to flash your flashlight towards them to stop them from moving, The contrast with the other monster where if you flash them with your flashlight they attack you led itself towards interesting moments where you had to balance out your flashlight and when not to use it.

The Riddles were decent but had no place in the story, a way I would've fixed it is make the Riddles lead you to you next objective, like if you kept the 3 Riddles for the first objective for example, make riddle answer 1 the location you need to go, riddle answer to could be the item you need to retrieve and the 3rd riddle could potentially hint at the enemies you may face, such as that doll riddle hinting towards the Mannequins.

There is a 3rd monster but the pathing for it is obviously broken, once it runs into a wall, it stops and breaks meaning they aren't a threat, so I can't comment on their functionality.

This game definitely did not feel like a cash grab, it wasn't perfectly designed but you could tell some passion went into it and it was a fun experience.

It would definitely be interesting if the developer came back and updated the game, however it's been 1.5 years since the last update so that seems unlikely.

Last note is that I thought the environment was an interesting setting with the night time city and park, but it felt empty with little to explore.

It's fun but no replayability, I still plan on 100%ing it.

Note to developer if you read this about the achievements; I think you mixed up the finish the game 10 times with the finish the game 1 time achievement, after you complete it for the first time you get the 10 timed achievement but the 1 time achievement is still locked.

The game is good and fun, it runs nice, looks nice and all the rest, has some good mechanics however, some things could have been better, from the AI, to stealth, and the size of the map to exploration ratio was unnecessary. no need for a map that big with as little exploration as it had, with some optimization the map would have been reduced down by 20-25% with no effect on story or exploration. Either way its a good game that if fun to play, I wouldnt consider 30 dollar game for 3 hours of gameplay a good deal however, so maybe wait for a sale or something.

This has to be my favourite Metroidvania game and platformer in general, it both exceeded my expectations and told a beautiful story which serves as a respectful statement to Iconoclasm. Not only is the story beautiful but so is the art, the unique style of the tiles and characters gives this game it's own charm that is unmatched anywhere else, and on top of that the writing is funny and meaningful when it needs to be. This is a true testament to the fact that indie games can truly be great, and that we need to support them more, not just the viral ones.

This is my favourite installment of the Batman Arkham 'trilogy' which includes your classic comic book Batman and references, although it doesn't feature all batmans most famous villains, it does make references to both them and lesser known villains.

The combat is fun(unless you are playing hard mode) and the story is decent, the story doesn't quite match up to Arkham City's or Arkham Knights story, but there is something about this one that just has a certain charm.

As someone who has 100% the achievements of this game, and played it on multiple platforms, I can say for sure I recommend this game to anyone who loves Batman, or even anyone who just likes the character. It's beautiful and rocksteady worked hard on this one, especially the dynamic cape.

*I RECOMMEND THIS GAME BUT WITH A "BUT"
This game is a great VR game, any VR game that is built FOR VR ONLY will be good for VR at the moment.

but...

Its basic, its an introductory game for VR, if you are experience in VR, or played it for 20 hours over the course of a few days, I would not recommend this game, its so basic it gets boring...

Although at the time of writing this review, I only have 2 hours but I think that is enough time to set my thoughts on the game.

It is an ok horror game, but dont confuse horror for scary. it is dark(cliche), you're fighting a demon(another cliche) and you run away a lot(yet another cliche in the horror genre). Accepting the fact that this game has all the current cliches in the indie horror scene because lets face it, there wont always be original indie horror games, this is a fairly all around ok game. I wouldn't say it is the best, if you want one of the best versions of this specific type of horror game, search for Devour or Pacify, objectively they are better and run better at that.
This game does have some bugs, the red fat dudes sometimes teleport for some reason, or go at super speed for a literal second but the game does shine at one particular area... it is challenging, the conservation of ammo, the beast needing more shots than your clip holds after 7/10 soul stones(On normal) forcing you to run and reload, and his speed gradually increasing, it is a barely decent game for it's price.

Would only recommend if you have 7.50 lying around, and if you can come to terms with the fact that you'll probably only stay interested in the game for 4 hours max. I will be playing more to unlock all of the achievements to try for that challenging 100% but thats the only thing keeping me going at this point. In 2 games you would have learnt the map, and in another game after that you will be sick of the map. There's only 1 map, nothing to ride home about.

This may be harsh but if you want to spend your time a little bit better I'd recommend just going to Itch.io or Gamejolt. You'll find tonnes of original indie games there and you'd be supporting indie developers at no cost and the only big difference you'll face, is the fact that they run better and they are mostly created using Unity rather than Unreal

This game can both be good and bad. I mean, objectively it is well constructed, not too many bugs that I know of, the main thing that sucks is the community can sometimes be a little toxic and that can put some people off of it, but that is mainly in comp.

The only reason I brought myself to review this game and actually recommend it, is cause its just funny. It's got a few cheap scares and stuff but you'll be laughing if you are playing with friends. I wouldn't say it is worth the little money it costs because you know, its just not that great of a game objectively. However, you can finish it in less than 2 hours and it has no 100% achievement refund lock so this game is basically free.
