This is a very good game and I regret spoiling things for friends so they don't have the same experience of going in blind. Seriously, try to skip any spoilers, try to avoid anything but the first hour-ish of gameplay. If you think you'd like this you will ADORE it.

Outer Wilds is a puzzle type game that requires curiosity. You will get little direction of what to do next, you will have a log of rumours but no flashing quest marker. Your next quest is whatever you want. If this frustrates you, you may dislike the game but I only found two parts I got a little stuck at. Part of the game is the lack of direction.

It's very story heavy, so no replayablity but your heart hurts and it's not really forced on you. You just get attached to these little aliens and decide to just sit there with marshmallows, watching the skies.... There's also visceral dread and tension, the sound design of this game is wonderful for that.

Essentially, you are an alien on their first space flight. In roughly half a hour, the sun will go supernova and you all will die. You watch everything burn up around you, then, wake up. There is a time loop, and that's all you really know to start.

Heavily suggest this game, it's about 25-35 hours of gameplay to beat. Much more comfortable on controller but offers both controller and mouse and keyboard. Does not require a TON of mechanical skill, but does have a few bits to struggle with. But yeah, buy this.
