Despite some performance issues at launch, Elden Ring is a phenomenal, once in a generation game. It's too bad that the issues are affecting the experience for some users, but they aren't personally stopping me from having a blast. I've put 20 hours into the game so far, and the worst stutering happened at the starting area near a hard boss that is meant to be skipped. I wonder how many people in these reviews left a negative one based on that alone, because otherwise the game has ran great 90% of the time.

I think sometimes PC gamers tend to over-exaggerate performance problems, and this is definitely the case with Elden Ring. The fact of the matter is that Elden Ring is so great at what it does that performance problems don't take away from the experience. This situation reminds me of Bloodborne. The game frequently ran at sub-30 fps and had poor frame pacing, but it is still one of the best games ever made. If you're sensitive to stuttering, it def isn't a bad idea to wait for patches though. Otherwise, I highly suggest the game.

Easily a 10/10
